BoironFirst Aid Calendula Ointment, 1 oz.

We use it for our newborn puppies. It's very mild but works great for chapped sensitive skin.

Calendula ointment is my go-to first aid for almost all skin conditions short of burns, and for that I use Urtica Urens. It softens the skin and nothing medicated with it ever gets infected just for starters.

I have ordered this exact Boiron Calendula ointment many times. I use it as a lip gloss, for minor scrapes, cuts, eczema-like patches, cracked skin, dry skin, diaper rash, etc. It’s petroleum-based kind of like Vaseline. The cool thing is is that it has the homeopathic Calendula flower in it. Calendula is related to the Marigold family. I used to pronounce it wrong. So just FYI… It’s pronounced Cow-len-ju-luh. Our family loves it and we always have a tube of it. We especially keep a tube of it in our kitchen in case there is a burn when cooking.I have found the price on Amazon to be the best.

AMAZING FOR CHAPPED LIPS!! I don't know if I have exfoliative chelitis or just ridiculously chapped lips, but I do know that this is the first stuff that I've tried that seems to really help. I put a little bit on any time my lips start feeling a little dry and it's amazing. I couldn't even kiss my boyfriend without my lips getting chapped and painful, but now they're fine! I keep the tube in my bag and it'll last me forever because it only takes a little bit! I am so happy to have soft normal lips again! It's not even all that shiny so I don't feel too weird spreading it past my lips when my upper lip also gets chapped.

This size is perfect for traveling and for keeping in my “crunchy” first aid kit. Reach for this almost every week!

I highly recommend this product for any kind of skin eruptions and general care for damaged or rashed areas. It is unscented which I like so I can use it easily on my cat. He has had areas where his hair was not growing back because of his licking the area and redness and rash. I put a very light thin application on his rash and now his hair is growing back and it's almost completely gone. I am using it for the same for my arms and I have a similar problem and have had good results.

Package received in one of these yellow bubble wrap envelopes and the ointment box was squished and looked like it had been teared opened. The seal of the ointment itself was not broken so I kept it since the packaging I was going to throw away anyways but I would maybe be more careful about that. The ointment itself is great for soothing my ezcema which gets really bad during the harsh Illinois temp drops. I might order again, it's a good price.

This is good general ointment for healing. It works really well.I give it a 5 star for that . The only reason I give it a 4 star is the company who manufacture it have dropped the size of the tube down but not the price. Such devious marketing tactics , I do not approve of.
