This is amazing.i first bought a 500amp inexpensive $40 converter. It didn’t charge my bosses co2 converter. This is like the mother of the first one I bought. I’m grateful for this converter. It charged my bosses oxygen concentrator. Which needed to be hooked up to the car battery for road trips. Also works great if the power goes out in the house. I plugged the Oxygen concentrator, Into this Electrical converter and it worked without the car being turned on. I’m so grateful for this converter. It’s literally a life safer! I can also charge my bosses portable CO2 concentrator into it while on the go. Many great uses. I suggest having it installed by a pro if hooking up to the battery. It’s powerful.

Just a word of warning to start off, even though this is a 500 W power inverter, you have to wire it directly to the battery in order to achieve that. If you use the cigarette lighter cable, it is only rated for 150 W. So be aware!Having said that, I bought the necessary size cables 5 AWG, 60 amp fuse, and wire loom to protect the wires, installed it in my work truck turned it on and worked flawlessly. All told I was in for around $100.

I like Cobra equipment. I like how this performs. I HATE the plastic case.Moving past that, it works very well to its specifications and is quite compact and easily located.

This cobra didnt last seven months of light use. It caused my truck to fire off spn 168 and made the dash flicker off and on.

I bought this item used. It was delivered May 3rd. It worked well until the 30 amp fuses inside the inverter blew. I had it connected to my truck battery, protected by an inline fuse. I replaced the in line fuse and it still didn’t work so I opened it and found 2 blown 30 amp fuses on the inside. I replaced those fuses and now I have a fault error. Do not buy this item used. I never used the inverter on anything more powerful than a charger and it still failed. Unfortunately it happened after 30 days so I do not have the option to have it replaced. I rated 3 stars because the inverter is still great, but I decided to buy one used to save money and it didn’t work out in my favor, which is partially my fault.
