Pretty much as described and as pictured. Three stones on a triangle with a holder and a little bottle of oil. I’ve only had it for a few weeks so can’t comment yet on how well it avoids dishing. But for someone looking to upgrade from sandpaper, this did the trick.Little bottle of oil is nothing special. Fortunately it’s refillable.Honing guide was too flimsy for me.

The 3-stone sharpener arrived yesterday. It works great. The 23 degree angle set is alright but I bought it for the stones, not a little piece of plastic. it's worth every penny. But the bubble wrap was not thick enough all the way around and the stones arrived with a large chip off the end of the medium stone - the stone that most of us wind up using most often. Then it was put in a plastic bag with the Amazon logo on it. I'm sure the USPS tossed it around en route like it was nothing but a bag of tee shirts and under shorts, because they're too busy to pay attention. I give the product 5 stars, Amazon 1.

I haven’t used Arkansas stones since I was a kid because I didn’t like em, but Dans stones are the best natural stone I’ve used. Super fine for what the stones are, granted the corse side is alum oxide I usually just use the medium and fine and get great results. I recommend them just make sure you get a big enough stone for your knives. The stone should be the length of your biggest blade.

This kit's worth every penny. Love the triange design with the wood base, lets you flip stones with ease and have a non slip surface to work with. I'm an avid outdoorsman and Eagle scout with 19 plus years experience sharpening blades, and my 2 good knives are sharp for a good while and my numerous other trash ones might keep their edge for a weekend which is about the best anyone can hope for. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

The product was just as described! My son loved it and said it works perfectly! He is now keeping knives sharp every Boy Scout in his troop.

I was looking for a simple way to sharpen my pocket knives or hunting knives. I'm no expert but I have read quite a bit and these stones seemed to be good ones. I've only tried them out with 2 knives but like the results I've gotten. Again, I'm no expert, but the price and size were great.

I am just starting out learning to sharpen my knives manually using stones, I had much more success using arkansas stone than any other stone. The coarse stone really helps give you a burr and the other stones help you sharpen it even further. I wish I ordered these first prior to my whetstones.

I've never used a whetstone before so I'm still learning but even after only the first try my knives are so, so much sharper than thet ever were - even when they were new.
