Women's Curvy Totally Shaping Straight Jeans (Standard and Plus)

I was complaining to my style guru daughter in law about only seeing high waisted jeans in the stores (childbirth followed by middle age and more isn't kind to one's waist line) and she recommended that I try straight leg Levi's. I bought these in a size 6S and a pair of Signature by Levi Strauss & Co. Gold Label Women's Modern Straight Jeans in a size 8S. Amazon recommended that I buy an 8 but I have been trying to shed a few pounds so I ordered two slightly different ones in different sizes. I didn't see any differences in the style of these jeans and both pair seemed to fit the same (so of course I kept the 6 and returned the 8! ) Both pair came as a 30" length rather than 29 which is what I wanted anyway. Both pair seemed to be of the good quality one would expect from this longstanding brand of jeans.

I was very shocked when I tried these on considering there called "totally shaping" so basically they fit like normal straight leg jeans should and trust me I have alot of the signature levis jeans but this is the first pair that says totally shaping on it that I've bought so I'm just glad I went with my regular size which is 18 cause I really did not wanna buy size 20 considering I own nothing in that size and I got them in the regular length cause the long length is way too long like they drag on the floor and I don't like that and I am a tall women so... another thing to take note on I'm kinda on the plus side meaning I got a big gut and very thick thighs and butt so surprisingly the jeans fit like they should and not like skinny jeans which I can't stand and I was able to button/zip them with no problem. I think what really helps is that they have stretch to them in the waist band so when I sat down I was still comfortable. Also I love the color awaken then again I perfer/like dark jeans anyways. So if your gonna get these and your hesitant on what size to get stick to the size you normally wear.

Here's something that i thought was interesting with these jeans y'all... I had ordered these 'totally shaping, curvy' and also I ordered the Signature by Levi Strauss & Co. Gold Label Women's Modern 'Straight' Jeans.. when I try them both on they fit exactly the same. I notice no difference at all between the two... Even though ones 'shaping' & ones 'straight. Maybe it's just me🤪 But that's a little confusing.☺One more thing I noticed was at the very top of the jeans they poke out about an inch extra in the waist area.. I thought about taking them up but I'm not sure if my little sewing machine could handle it☺Anyhow, I'm 5'3 and about 115 lbs.. I order size 4 short (or 30' length) and that size usually fits about right. These jeans are comfortable for jeans though not the softest pair. Also, they do have a nice amount of stretch and all👍I don't know if it's just me but does anyone else have difficulty finding a good pair of pants/jeans that fit just right? Ones that actually fit the waist/hips area and also are not too tight nor too loose but just right?😅

I gained some weight and needed a larger size jeans. In the morning these are good fitting, as day progresses they do get a slight bit bigger from the stretch, so I find my pulling them up. I should have ordered a size down. Washed well and very comfortable. I would buy again.

I have been on a quest to find a pair of classic, well fitting jeans, that look flattering. These jeans checked all the boxes. The fabric has a little stretch, but the fit remains true throughout the day. I ordered my usual size and the longer inseam. The fit was perfect. They are officially my new favorite jeans.

I have 3 pair of these jeans. They have great stretch without compromising the look of the jeans. They are super comfortable and really cute. They tighten up a bit when washed and dried, but still fit great and they relax quickly. These are my very favorite jeans!

I'm short and heavy. These jeans fit great everywhere ---- except my stomach. They fasten comfortably, but since my stomach is so big, and these are close-fitting everywhere, the jeans look awful on me. I'm 5'3", and though I ordered a short size, the jeans are about 2 inches too long for me. Otherwise, I would love these and wear them all the time. Soft, comfortable, stretchy. Perfect. Just, not for me.

Jeans are lightweight, like wearing your pj bottoms, never feel like “ all stretched out “ so need washing again. Really Keep their shape and support, which I love. I need to get more colors. That perfect pair. These were in black and can be dressed up or down- perfection!

I am 5 ft.11, 147lbs. Purchased size 6 length 32- normally wear 8. These jeans fit as expected (if you order a size smaller) to avoid sliding because they all have stretch. Had to return a pair of modern skinny because they kept sliding down at size 8. The length is excellent and the waist at a size 6 is superb- do not slide down, still have room and are super flattering. For tall people don't be worried about the length as long as you purchase the long at 32. Enjoy!

Very figure flattering. Hugs your curves without pinching anywhere. The stretch is amazing. Holds all day and does not get "baggy butt" by noon.I normally wear size 16 or 1X in leggings. I ordered 14 for motivation but they fit lovely. I know it is because of the amazing stretch, but at least they will fit for quite some time throughout weight loss journey.Legs fit great. Best straight legs I have purchased in long time. They do not sag at the knee . Really nice taper from thigh to ankle.I am ordering another pair immediately! And also a pair of size 12's (still need those motivation jeans).

The black pair fit perfectly and are soft but the blue pair posted fit small so order up a size bc the thighs are tighter and the material for them feel Stiff and ruff* * update they do soften after a couple of wears

Cute jeans I will wear a lot. I got this pair and the Boyfriend style. Both have nice stretch that gets a bit looser with wear, but they don’t get shapeless and baggy. I’m not typically a 6 but 8 can be slightly too big. I got the 8 in this jean. Wish they had a 7! I think 6 would have been too tight, but the 8 is just a hint too big. Regardless, I like them and will keep them. Because they come from the cheaper Levi’s Signature line they aren’t like the usual much pricier Levi’s. The fabric is nice but not as thick as pricier Levi’s. But they are great for casual events and weekends and could be styled a bit dressy. I’m 5’5” with average length legs. The length of these was good. The bottom just glances the ground if I’m not wearing shoes. I’ll wear with at least a little heel but they won’t work with flats for me. Happy with my purchase.

Update April 21. I still have not heard back from seller on this issue.I ordered 3 pairs of these jeans, came in 2 shipments. The 2nd package arrived with one pair having the tags on them, the other pair had no tags whatsoever and as soon as you opened the plastic the heavy scent of detergent or fabric softener was over powering. A fabric softener sheet fell out when I pulled the jeans out of packaging.I did not order “used” jeans and thoroughly disgusted that these were sent out.I will say I am happy with the fit overall of the other 2 pair I received. Ordered 26long even tho I’m only 5’2”.
