Excellent chair
Su far so good, for a first wheelchair that's not custom fit it's pretty good. I chose this one because it had the narrow seat which is great and fits me perfectly but so many other factors I've found after purchase have made it a good choice. I did take care to measure my width sitting down and made sure the measurement was snug enough. I can walk but only about 20m with crutches before crashing and using a chair seemed like a good solution. My poor dogs who haven't been out in 3 months can now get down the field with me and they won't go with anyone else. I'm very weak now but can't afford electric, the thought of pushing was daunting but actually it isn't all that bad and this was a really good price. Obviously on grass it's more difficult, and yes it can do grass and rough tracks because the casters are quite big. The instruction book said not to use on grass or uneven surfaces, a bit contradictory for an all terrain chair I might add. It's also a job getting up hills and oh my gosh you see hills where there were none before. It's easy to fold and unfold, a little annoying taking the pads on and off before and after every use but it doesn't fit through my door unless it's folded. Not the chairs fault but my house design. If I was completely immobile I'd have to move house. Just about everything is adjustable, arm rests, push handles, feet rests, just not seat height. If it was perfect I'd go a little lower but it's but a custom build and good enough. Seat height is apparently is key to getting center of balance for a wheelie, hands should reach center of your wheel, I'm just short. (Wheelie is recommended in the instructions for getting up kerbs) I have successfully mastered a wheelie indoors or rather a 'pop up' wheelie but couldn't when I actually faced a kerb outside, I think it's fear even though it has the anti flip wheels at the back that do actually work. I'll have another go next time I'm out. I can't actually hold it for traversing rough terrain.but not an issue at this point, I think I'd need to drop the chair further back to find center balance but I'm not brave enough to remove the anti flip wheels, not yet. Summing up, strong and sturdy, good fit, folds easy, lightweight and looks good. I should also point out it arrived well before expected delivery date. Found it sitting on my doorstep only 2 days after purchase when a week was advised

Great piece of kit
Bought for my father who can no longer walk due to dementia and is in a care home. The care home has its own wheelchairs, but these are all small wheeled "transit" models, with solid tyres (typically marketed as "unpunctureable"). The transit chairs are fine indoors but when used outside, the ride over any distance is pretty uncomfortable (especially given the general state of the roads and pavements). The large pneumatic tyres on this Mobiquip all terrain chair make a huge difference when taking my father out - he is much more comfortable and has stopped flinching every time we go over a bad bump. This means that we can go much further afield than before and opens up a lot more possibilities in terms of places we can visit etc. It arrived quickly and the only assembly required is unfolding it and putting on the front foot supports - instructions on this could've been a bit better but I got there fairly quickly. It is quite lightweight and folds up into a really compact shape, so it's fine parked in a corner of his room in the care home - we just use it when we want to take him outdoors. I also found it easier to push than the transit models. For anyone worried about getting punctures in the pneumatic tyres, the outer tyres are pretty thick mountain bike-style ones, which should offer a degree of protection. It also comes with a replacement inner tube and a bicycle pump, which attaches to the underside of the chair. I wasn't expecting that and thought it was a nice touch. For the money, I think this is brilliant value, especially when compared with prices for similar wheelchairs elsewhere. I didn't want to spend a huge amount on the chair because it is not going to be used day to day - only when we want to take my father out. Some reviewers have commented negatively on the little anti-tip wheels at the rear. I haven't found these to be a problem. I haven't got them fully extended so that they rest on the ground - they are one notch up from that (so they are a few centimetres off the ground). I think that is probably enough to stop tipping right back (and in any event, my father isn't able to propel the wheelchair - so there would normally be someone behind it pushing and hopefully able to stop any tip-up). In any event, the wheelchair itself feels pretty stable, so I would think there's a reasonable chance the anti-tip wheels will never actually be needed. The brakes also seem very robust and are effective in stopping wheel movement once fully engaged.

Excellent wheelchair
Excellent wheelchair. Arrived quickly. Very comfortable and robust. My husband has cancer which spread to his hip. Transporting him around is much more bearable for him to endure compared to the hospital wheelchairs. Very easy to assemble and fold away. Easy manoeuvring, good brake system. I got the 20 inch seat just to allow for extra comfort and he is 6,3. I'd need a narrower one for the house as it exceeds my narrow hallway. It is quite heavy lifting out the car. But i am very pleased with it and so is he.
