The heater does work well but there was a nasty smell when I turned it on, and it set off the smoke alarms!Now whatever that was, has burnt off it is fine.However the handles do get quite warm, unlike other heaters that are similar but the handles are more of a distance from the main heater.

First, the delivery was delayed by a few days and no reason was given. Then, when it did turn up, the heater was badly dented. I didn't even try to use it because I wouldn't be confident of the safety of an item that looked like it had been drop-kicked around the factory. So I had to arrange to return it - but that means I have to drive ten miles to the nearest Evri pick-up point.

Vary Vary good good for the money I'll recommend it to anyone

I bought this budget little convector heater to put in my sons room, when he came home from Uni.BTW, Central heating fuel is 90+ centimes a litre here in France, and even though I am an Ex.Pat.I don't qualify for the OAP heating grant.My son used it to keep his room warm (faces North ) for studying, instead of using the Central Heating.It's a Gable End , Attic Room 3.3m X 4.0m .The 750 watt setting has been sufficient to raise the temperature to a 'comfy' 21 deg C , with it then switchingoff on the thermostat setting.see photo...... notice French electrics , however the UK adapter did not overheat even when the heater wasused on its maximum heat setting with the turbo fan operating.The 'turbo' fan is super quiet , it's similar in size to that of a 'cooling' fan on a computer tower !I would recommend this heater , to anyone who needs to heat only one room all day.

I'm generally not a fussy buyer but this item was already damaged when was delivered and I took it out of the box! Heating wise is ok and still does the job but am not sure how long it's going to last! Because of the huge dent on the heater I was going to return it but I just couldn't afford the hassle of "return process." I think someone should have inspected the good before dispatching it .
