Awful shoe. Terrible Quality.
This "Vibe" shoe is not the same as the Touareg seen in the 5 star review. As evident by the middle stripe being overlayed instead of inset. This "New" Touareg Vibe version is made to lesser quality. The "leather" appears synthetic and the outer sole is some sort of plastic that is slick and will surely crack before the shoe is broken in.Clarks should be ashamed to release such a product but I guess isn't surprising for a company that has obviously sacrificed quality to save money in both materials and manufacture after moving production from the UK to Asia.Returned shoes before wearing. I would not recommend.

Don't make them like they used to.
Bought these to replace an older pair, but don't make them like they used to. As mentioned in other reviews, the center strip is outset and not inset. The quality of the leather and build not as good. And, the color is not representative of what is shown in the Amazon product photos.

I was wrong, great shoes.
I’m giving this three stars because they’re still decent dress shoes. However, Clarks has made a change in the quality of their materials. These shoes don’t look/feel nearly the same quality as Clarks in the past. May have to switch back to Born’s after this pair.*Update* 5/1/18I've had these shoes for a considerable amount of time. They have lasted through the lousy MN winter, and don't show any signs of needing replacement. I will be buying another pair of these when the time comes.

They've cut some corners.
This is my second pair of this model. I'm a big fan of Clarks and I have owned several pair; both casual and dress variety. This is my second pair of Touareg Vibe. The first pair had an upper made with a wonderful detail; it's 3 pieces of leather sewed together, with a center stripe detail sewed below the two side pieces creating a handsome effect. The sole is a heavy-duty multiple rubber type with great grip. The new pair uppers are 2 piece, with one single piece of leather covered with center strip sewed on top of the upper - the opposite effect of the older pair. The sole is lower quality, with noticeably less "grippiness" than the first pair.I will say this; the footbed of the newer pair is very comfortable, and the shoes overall wear very comfortably.

Evolving model
I bought this same model nearly ten years ago. When I purchased them again I noticed they had been modified slightly. They have a harder sole that “clicks” on hard surface floors much more audibly. The toe has been accented with a dark color as well. You can see my old shoes that have been worn and polished many times over the years and compare them with the brand new ones (see photos).

Nice looking comfortable shoes for a smart casual dress, but poor quality
UPDATE: I'm dropping three stars from my original 5 star review - the reason is on the photos. After only 6-7 months of wearing these shoes (and wearing them a lot I have to admit), the inside looks extremely worn out. Don't know what materials Clark's used for the inside, but it's no good at all. Don't think I'm gonna buy Clark's anymore, seriously just look at what they've become.------------------------So, I was big fan of ECCO shoes. Well I'm still is, but it gets harder to cough up $200+ for a pair. Then I bought Clarks for the first time few years ago, and now I have 3 pairs of Clarks. They are well built, last long, comfortable, and cost half that of ECCO's.These particular shoes look good for a smart-casual attire in the office, and suit jeans just as well. They are comfortable, good cushioning for a long day on feet. Color is nice. They seem to run a bit larger - there is some room in the toe area, not an issue though (would've been worse if they ran small). I'm very pleased

Comfortable business casual shoes
My company is business casual, so I purchased this pair of Clark's to wear with slacks. (See picture.) I originally purchased size 11.5, which is my size, but they did not work with shoe-length orthotic, so I used Amazon's exchange option to purchase the 11.5W instead. (Kudos to Amazon on the exchange option, by the way. It worked flawlessly and I even saved $10 on the wider shoes.) For those who wear shoe-length orthotics, the insole is tacked down lightly and easy to remove. If this model is still available when I wear out this pair, I will definitely repurchase.

Not nearly as nice as the original..
Just like everything else Clarks, they really cheapened these shoes up. The sole is made of junk material compared to the original. And the shoe itself is 1/2 the quality of the previous version. The brown used to be a nice two-tone shoe. The new one looks cheap. The black looks ok but is constructed of cheap materials. It's a shame Clarks is letting this once great brand be destroyed... As far as fit goes, they fit ok once they are broken in. But not nearly as comfortable as the original...

Beware a little lighter than photo would suggest
I happen to try a pair of these at a local retailer first, however the pair there appeared a bit darker. So my guess is depending on the lot these shoes may arrive a bit lighter than displayed in the photo. However, this is a minor quibble, they are still the excellent comfort and quality that Clarks is known for. They are feather light and have a nice spring to the footbed.Pros:☺ Very comfortable shoe☺ Super lightCons:☹ A little bit lighter than photo would suggestOverall: Quality and comfort that I come to appreciate from a brand such as Clarks. RecommendedLove helping consumers make informed decisions. Thank you very much for the 'Yes' helpful vote, and please feel free to comment or ask questions related to this product or other items I have reviewed on Amazon.

Clark's a shoe which doesn't even last 2 months, horrendous quality and a total rip off.
In all my years of adulthood wearing Clark's shoes this was perhaps the worst experience. The sole of the shoe has cracked off already in less than 60 days. I have never seen anything like this and feel like being ripped off my hard earned money. It's so sad that Amazon has been letting substandard products sell on their site. Clark's has been profiteering selling garbage shoes and Amazon is getting its incentive as well.I would like my money back from Amazon & Clark's as money doesn't grow on trees specifically during the times of this pandemic.

Too snug to they were returned.
These are beautiful shoes and of high quality. The length is correct and the width as well but I returned them as the upper leather area is too tight around my feet even with laces fully loosened. Otherwise, these are an excellent buy.

Shoes make my feet go red and burn
I have had good experience with Clarks shoes in the past but these ones (Clarks Men's Touareg Vibe Lace-Up Leather Shoes) irritate my feet making them turn red and burn unbearably. When I stop wearing them for a week or two, the pain and redness goes away. And when I wear them again, the burning starts again. I believe the problem may be caused by the residual of a chemical used to cure the leather or in the manufacture of the shoe.

Light and comfy (my second pair)
Nicely packaged and delivered fast. The shoes I received looked cleaner (obviously never worn new pair) than the old one I bought from a near-by store. These shoes are light and comfy.
