I have used the Rose Hydrating Serum off and on for several years--I keep coming back to it and wonder why I ever stopped! It is such a lovely serum, very calming to my dry mature skin, one of the few I found online that is reasonable in price and actually works with my skin. My skin just drinks it up and looks brighter, calmer and refreshed. It is a MUST HAVE product!

This is one of several wonderful serums that Valentia has come out with. It comes in an elegant white and gold box in which is an amber colored bottle with pump nozzle for distributing the serum. The serum itself is lotion-like in consistency and pearl in color. It has a complex aroma which unravels like a luxurious perfume until it develops into a beautiful rose petal aroma. The fragrance about 10 minutes after you put on the serum is similar to Fresh's Rose Face Mask. I find I really like to wear this serum on my neck during the day and have it double as perfume because the scent is so nice. It keeps my décolleté and neck well moisturized as well.This serum is chock full of great ingredients. I LOVE THIS! It keeps my face moist and dewy. It also seems as if my pores are smaller. I do put this on while my face is damp, and a few minutes later, wet my face and put more on (I've extremely dry skin). People have noticed that my skin is more "dewy" was the word used.

I have been looking for this sort of light moisturizer for YEARS. I typically wash my face with water only and don't wear makeup. I generally think our bodies don't need fancy products to stay healthy as nature intended, but sometimes I do dry out my skin with a hot shower or the occasional soap. I have been using this daily, after a shower and at night, for about three months. Almost done with my first bottle. It is lightweight and soaks in rapidly, and my skin feels perfectly quenched after use. The serum has a light fresh rose scent - very natural. I didn't take any before/after photos but my 37 year old skin MIGHT be looking a little more refreshed & fine grained lately.

The Royal Rose Hydrating Serum from Valentia is the third product I have reviewed for this company. The ingredients are Rosa Damascena that adds Vitamin B to the skin, Rosehip Seed Oil that is rich in Vitamins A and C, Evening Primrose Oil that provides a light non-oily moisture to the skin and Bearberry that reduces melanin production that lightens the skin. I have been using it now for about a month at night, a little bit goes a long way. I am 62 and have noticed that I am getting age spots on my face and hands. Although I do have a lot of freckles on my skin, these age spots are not that noticeable. I have a few on my face that I have noticed after using the hydrating serum have lightened a bit, they have not disappeared yet. This product comes in a small brown bottle and the serum lasts a long time. With each pump, you get a drop. It goes on non-oily, which I like, absorbs easily and the smell is kind of like an essential oil smell, not overpowering at all. All you need is 1-2 pumps at night after cleansing.I like the products from Valentia, they are natural effective products that are Alcohol and Paraben free.I received this product for my honest and unbiased review

I have only used this a few times and immediately notice the rose aroma. While pleasant, it could interact with perfume if worn during the day. However, suggested use is for a night time serum, and maybe this would be a great idea if you wear perfume during the day. I like to use it any time of day, mainly because I do not always remember at night. I love the benefit of the serum for my neck, which needs the most help. I also like the faint rose scent. I noticed a little break out after the first few uses but hoping that will subside with more use. I received this product at a deep discount for review purposes.
