Received this costume yesterday and I LOVE it! Be careful of the sizing! As is the norm with Halloween costumes, they run VERY small! I wear a size 6-8 jeans and usually a medium in tops and ordered an XL. It fits perfectly. It comes in two parts, the blue satin dress with lace trim, and the apron. The apron is HUGE! I can loop it twice around my waist, BUT it does therefore have the potential to get the perfect fit. I will be pinning the straps. It is a very flat costume, and to get that real "alice look" I ordered a leg avenue knee length petticoat which gave it that gorgeous poof shape. If you do not wear a petticoat, it will sit probably just below your knee (I'm 5"6). The back of the dress ties at the top like a hospital gown, with three velcro fastenings down the back, the skirt section has no openings but to be safe, I will be either adding a zipper, or pinning it shut as it will gap if I do not. Overall its beautiful, comfortable and appropriate, not hoochy at all, which is good, considering I will be wearing this to a party with about 300 kids and senior citizens!

Looking at the photos, I expected this to fit kind of baggy. It doesn't. It defines your waist and has a cute A line. It's a little bit short on me, but I have a super long torso so that's normal. It is sheer, so don't wear bright underwear.

The apron was a bit big & the dress was snug. It said it was XL, size 12 to14, but I think it fits more like a 12. The apron is very cute & nicely made, and the dress has a very cute petticoat underneath it (attached) that is well made & helps the skirt stand out more. I really like it, but the Velcro does catch easily on the satin fabric. So beware, it snags fairly easily. I was able to wear it, just pinned the apron to make it fit better & added a little extra material & Velcro to the back to make it less snug.

This was a very good quality costume. My only comments on it was that it was much smaller than you might expect. I followed the advice of the other reviewers and bought a bigger size. It was for my daughter who usually wears a small-medium and the large fit just right. It Velcro's in sections along the back, so you may need to use pins or a shirt under it. The apron is a separate piece but it didn't sit flat on the back, so we simply pinned it and it worked great. This was the only modest Alice costume we could find and the material was a lot more substantial Han any we could find at the Halloween stores. It was perfect.

This costume is terrible!! I'm so bummed! First, it does not meet the measurements for the size I ordered. I'm a medium and I ordered an extra large because I work at an elementary school and wanted to make sure it was modest. I can't even close the back of the costume it is too small! I'm short and the picture shows the costume going below the knee. It is about 5 inches above my knee! There is absolutely no way I can wear this costume!

I ordered both a Large and XL. The Large fit but was a little more snug than I preferred. But the XL was smaller/tighter than the Large! So I returned the XL. I thought maybe it was a fluke and ordered another XL but again it was smaller/tighter than the Large. Since I need an Alice costume pretty soon, I've kept the Large. It will do for what I need but I do you want to say that the quality is not the finest, as others have indicated. But I don't think I expected it to be at the price. My biggest complaint though is that the back of the dress uses two velcro spots and a tie at the top of the neck for closure. This really isn't ideal since the apron does not cover the back and so you can see in the back that it is just fastened together by velcro. Since it is slightly snug on me, as I mentioned, this means that the velcro could pop open if I shifted the wrong way here or there, not to mention that you could also see some of my back in between the velcro spots. The tie at the neck also felt and looked awkward. So I asked someone who is good with alterations to change it to a zipper and button for me. That makes it work for me now. It paired it with white tights, black mary jane shoes and a black headband and I am good to go, even though it still feels slight snug. I wish the XL size had worked out to actually be larger than the Large.

The dress was beautifully made. The size was right on and my little Alice in wonderland loved it

Wore this for my work Halloween event & it was perfect! It was quite well made & very accurate, especially for the price, & came so quickly! It is so hard to find costumes that are not super short, but I'm 5' 8" & even with a petticoat it came to my knees. I got a large, though it fit pretty well, an extra large wouldn't have hurt, though from other reviews I expected this. I recommend a petticoat only to give the skirt some poof, but it isn't necessary. I highly recommend this costume!
