My violin teacher has used this book for a VERY long time, in in fact has made copies for me to take home from it! Finally, I decided to order my own, new one--since his was old and kind of beat up:) I did so, and I am thrilled!! It has sooo much music in there--Blues, Old Country Ballads, Irish Country songs and soooo much more! Beautiful songs, some of them just take my breath away, they are so beautiful:) Get this book, and you will NEVER get bored---hundreds of things to choose from, and all are amazing:) They touch my soul, and inspire me to learn more and more:) Get it---you will NOT regret it. This was a Christmas gift. The recipient loved it. I looked through it myself and I thought the pieces looked very playable.

Binding not what is pictured
I ordered this because the picture showed black ring binding for ease of use while playing. Book came with normal binding. Would have given 5 stars if not for misleading picture, otherwise an excellent book!

Not usable, it fell apart
Nice music but comb binding not acceptable. I don't use the book because. It fell appart .No way to repair it !!!

Good gift for a friend who requested it
Friend said this was a real go to resource for any americana fiddle player ( bluegrass, folk, celtic etc, not classical, though).
