Black Sunglasses for Women and Men

*** NOTE: I received a free sample of this product in exchange for an honest review. ***The Glasseslit Bamboo Wood Sunglasses is a very attractive and dark pair of sunglasses. Made for either men or women, the glasses are worn with fashionably larger lenses which is offset by the real bamboo wood ear pieces.The fit is pretty good as far as insuring that they sit level on your ears and nose. However, the one and only real negative of the sunglasses is the ear pieces are angled such that they are very narrow (for me) at the ear. Not that I felt like my head was being squished, but the constant pressure gave me a headache after I had the sunglasses on for a long drive. Not to think that I'm some fat head, I had my 11 year old daughter try on the glasses too and without anything from me, her first comment was "aren't they kind of narrow?"The glasses sell for $21.95. Considering the glasses ship inside of a very nice fake alligator case (the one I received was red, not black) and also includes a small cleaning cloth, a stick on phone stand and a small screwdriver (with both Phillips and standard bit) on a key chain, it seems like it is worth the money!So overall I really liked the look of the Glasseslit Bamboo Wood Sunglasses and plan on hanging onto them as they are very attractive, but I can probably only wear them in short bursts.

When I saw the price of these sunglasses, I wasn't expecting that much out of them. I was so wrong. I used to spend a lot of money on sunglasses like Vuarnet, Oakley, etc. Then I found out there are a lot of sunglasses that will do just fine without the huge price tag. This is one of those.I actually compared these to my Vuarnet which are also the Wayfarer style. One test I did was to hold the glasses by the end of the arms and flex outward, as if I was trying to spread them apart. These felt almost as sturdy as my Vuarnet. Then I held the glasses at the corner where the arm meets the eyepiece and try to "bend" them as if I was trying to fold the eyepieces together. Again, these felt just as sturdy. Twisting, bending, flexing... Unless you get out of control, these are going to last!The fit was perfect. I have a smaller head, but even with vigorous movement they did not slip. A big plus for me is that these glasses sit on my nose and not on my cheeks, a problem I have always had with this style. The black plastic frame looks high quality and unless you look close, nobody will know these didn't cost a fortune. The bamboo arms are not adjustable at all, but what do you expect from bamboo? They look great on men or women, with the same Wayfarer lines.Not only do you get the glasses, but you also get a hard case (mine is a cute one with cartoon dogs!). Bonus gifts are a glasses cleaning cloth and a stick-on universal cell phone stand. they also include a small screwdriver/nut driver. It has both Philips and standard heads, along with a very small size bolt head covering one end.I received a pair of these sunglasses in exchange for an honest review and I honest love them. I think they would make a great addition to any casual wardrobe at an affordable price.

I was asked to try a pair of sunglasses ( from 3 styles) and write a review, I chose this one because it looked really cool on the site.When I got them I was blown away by the "package deal"! the Case is REALLY cute (my wife promptly stole the doggie-designed case!)The cleaning cloth, screwdriver and cloth are a nice addition too.The glasses themselves fit me perfectly! They are nice and dark - not *too* dark (for me) but they are darker than other pairs I have.They are distortion free, and feel very nice, no pinching no squeezing.I love these, I love the wood arms, it really is retro-funky-hipster-ish :)
