Economic way to clean electric razors

After using the shaver a few times, the hair gets caught around the cutting blades, This fluid cleans them and lubricates them, so they cut well. They don't smell bad, also.

I cannot find anyone that still sells the Norelco cleaner, HQ200, and Norelco will not sell to the general public either. So I purchased this. We shall see how well it works, but so far for ease of use it has a long way to go.

I ranked this low due to the fact you cannot just use it the same as you do the regular solution.You have to constantly fill tank up due to higher rate of evaporation.You also cannot go by the fill lines in the tank, sometimes it takes more sometimes it takes less.I will not buy this again.The makers of this product have contacted me about the issues I had with it. They have tried to work with me in finding a workable solution to the problems.I am moving my rating from a 1 star to a 2 star.It is not based on the product alone but the attempts to make things right.I am sad to say I still could not get their product to work right for me.That is not to say it will not work for you, It may be the level indicator of mine, although it works correctly with the original solution.

I have a PhillipsNorelco Sensotouch 3d 1250X. This solution seems to clean the heads, but leaves a layer of film on the internal sensors of the cleaning reservoir. This tricks the sensors into believing that the solution is almost empty when it is not. What happens is approximately every other cleaning, the sensors think the reservoir is empty. My only fix so far is to take the top off, and rush the sensors under running water. Something I never had to do before with the Norelco solution.

I could never find the Norelco cleaning fluid at any store where I live. Target, Wal-Mart, CVS, etc. do not stock it. INtersting, since they sell the complete cleaning system with a new razor-I don't get it.I do recommend this product-they have different aromas that you could order. It cleans very well and lubricates the heads for a nice shave.

I was expecting the shaver heads to come out sparkling clean as they do with the Norelco cleaning soloution, but even after running it through the clean cycle twice there were still whiskers sticking to the heads. The solution certainly is inexpensive enough, but I think I will bite the bullet and buy the Norelco solution.

Very disappointed. It's a concentrate you mix with water, and it is nowhere near the quality of the Norelco product. I was under the impression I was getting ready made product, as each packet was the price of the OEM Product. I wish I could get my money back.
