TankH2O Scuba Tank Original Single Wall Stainless Steel Water Bottle

Great idea for the scuba diver! My husband scuba dives. I came across this water bottle by accident one day and snatched it up for him. The day it came in - he used it and loved it. I review a lot of items on Amazon that have been discounted for my honest review. This is NOT one of those items. I purchased this full price and I wanted to video review it to give the consumer an idea of what they'd be buying - site unseen. What I liked: It looks just like a scuba divers oxygen tank. The screw on lid gives it the perfect completion to the tank idea. The attention to detail was well thought out and delivered. It is by far, the coolest gift idea for a scuba diver in your family. It's so unique. What I did not like/suggestions: Should be double walled insulated. The opening needs to be just a bit wider for those that would like to add ice. My suggestions/what I did not like in no way takes away from the 5 stars. It's simply the coolest idea!

Nicely crafted stainless steel bottle looks just like the picture. Great size, solidly constructed, durable but not too heavy. I would point out that the cap is not metal and is plastic. Looks OK in real life but not as convincing as the picture suggests and not as solid as I'd like. A thumbs up recommendation from me, though. Would buy again.

The bottles were great. Both my father and I have been divers and have been using the bottles. It is of course a very simple water bottle, with no insulation, so the bottle will sweat if you put a cold drink in it. The capacity isn't amazing, but you can put a full 750ml into it, so if you wanted to fill it with a full bottle of alcohol, you could (probably not the best idea, especially if you bring the bottle to your dive site). The detailing on the valve and the rubber base resemble an actual SCUBA cylinder enough that you can easily tell what it is, and it has a pleasing aesthetic to it, as well as a nice design pattern. It would be nice if the black handle on top actually operated an opening in the valve that would allow you to drink, but that would probably increase the price, which already is a little high for a water bottle. The top is just a piece of molded plastic. Overall it's a fun item and it motivates me to hydrate more frequently.

Keeps water incredibly cold. A few ice cubes and 4 hours later this tank was still ice cold. Lightweight, yet very sturdily built. fellow divers thought it was a miniature scuba tank for real. holds a full thermos full of cold liquid (not hot stuff). the color is vivid and the rubber base holds the tank upright without it skidding; it doesn't easily tip over full or empty. the top piece easily unscrews and normal size ice cubes slide down to the bottom. I'm buying more of these for gifts. what a neat product.

UPDATE from October 9th, 2015: Per the vendor's comment this bottle can be put into a dishwasher as long as it does not have any stickers on it. It's great news! If I will not add a negative update -- that means that the bottle is surviving dishwasher cycles fairly well. ORIGINAL review: As other reviewers have mentioned, the top portion is made of plastic and is a screw-on type of the top. Yes, it would be nice if it would be a flip off type of the top, but even without it -- it is still a great gift. It's also a conversation starter! The bottom plastic black portion does not have facets on it like the real ones for scuba tanks do. However, I don't think that it's a big deal. The packaging has stated that it is a "Hand wash only" bottles and it sounds strange. I would expect it to be a dishwasher safe product. Well, there are still some opportunities for improvement here. Overall, it's good for its price.

I was a bit disappointed with the quality of this water bottle, but it's super cute. I bought this as a gift for my partner who does a lot of scuba diving, and thankfully they love it despite it's short life span. The top is made entirely of plastic, and the rubber O-ring broke after a few uses. I was able to get another O-ring from the hardware store that works, but the plastic top is very cheap and does not screw into the metal bottle very well. So far it holds liquid just fine, no leaks, but not sure how long it will last. The container is made of thin metal (cheap alloy), but it works fine for its use. If you tend to drop these bottle, expect a lot of dents. Overall, its niche product that serves is purpose, but poor quality of material made it lose two stars.

Metal bottle and great quality accept for the top.. the actual top is plastic and didnt seem to be very stong.. other than that it was used and cute for a gift

Great H2O bottle Love the graphics and the look. Just like a little scuba tank. the top so easy to get off and with the top design easy to carry around. i also love the fact that it has a non slip rubber bottom. Great for setting somewhere and not having it slide around.

This is a great addition to my desk. Being steel it keeps water cooler for longer and is a great talking point. Quality product - a bit expensive but isn't all diving kit!? My only complaint is that it's A-clamp and I'm a DIN man, and I can't get the insert out.

La verdad es que no es ni más ni menos que una botella de aluminio normal y corriente como cualquiera que podemeos encontrar en el mercado pero... es tan bonita... y como soy una friki del buceo, me encantó. La uso para ir al gimnasio. Es buena porque cierra muy bien y mantiene el agua fresquita durante mucho tiempo. Me parece un poco cara, pero es que las frikadas se pagan.
