Very good quality kit for the price
The filter itself is honestly pretty good quality, and decent size. for less then 30$ you're getting a good kit for your car. I put this on my 1.8t passat and it fit perfectly with no issues, and it made the car sound better as well.

How to make fit
Okay so… to make the intake fit a golf mk4 2.0 you have to heat up the fitting till it’s vary soft because the it’s going to be the same exact size as the sensor, it’s going to be vary tight but it’ll slap right on. The hose clamp will NOT fit so what I did is used a zip tie and pulled it vary hard. Hope this helped y’all:)

Love this thing
Love this thing I looked everywhere all the websites and everything and everybody wanted to 250+ and I paired this with the heat shield on Amazon and got the same thing that everybody’s paying $250 for $50. I love Amazon in my car has the noise, the turbo noise, and everything and didn’t have to pay so much.

Almost nailed it but vital pieces didn't fit
Vehicle: 2004.5 VW Jetta GLI 6MT (1.8t AWP engine)Let me start off by saying this looked promising as a no frills clean and simple budget oriented short ram intake. Everything looked good, decent quality, except for two very important details once I tried to install:1) The diameter of the adapter that connects to the MAF to the short pipe included are not correct on the MAF side (it is too small).- Maybe this is only a problem for the "Late AWP" 1.8T engines (perhaps different MAF housing?)?2) The small filter for the secondary air injection is not meant for the stock hose where it is supposed to clip into the end of the hose. I Know ECSTuning and CTSTurbo makes one for $20 +shipping. The included SAI filter uses a worm clamp vs the "clip in" factory style, the hose/connection coming from the small filter is also too small of a diameter to try and just wing it as it will fall out if you just try to place it in there. Maybe if you wrap layers of tape you could get it to fit in snug but it would not be secured. All in all it requires purchasing more parts or jerry rigging to install and that's not what i'm looking for.

Inadequate
Description sates it will fit a 1.8l turbo VW 2001 beetle. All of the diameters were wrong. I will no longer try and save some $$$ and purchase a well established brand like K&N.

2004 VW Jetta TDI
Overall great! Looks great and makes great turbo noises. The install was pretty easy. It don’t come with any instructions. Over all pretty self explanatory. You will have to remove the MAF from the original air box. MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL THE MAF GOING THE RIGHT DIRECTION. I had to use two zip ties and the long mounting bracket to mount it. If you a 2004 VW Jetta TDI 1.9 you will run into having a vacuum line that don’t have a home on the new cold air intake. I drilled a small hole and pushed the vacuum line through. Make sure the vacuum line is installed before the MAF sensor. It’s cheap and that’s what you will get haha. Overall would recommend.
