Q: What if lock stops working or breaks how will i get into my safe?

Hello, The keypad can be replaced separately if the keypad for some reason stops working. The lock is not as easy if it where to fail. The locks kits made by SecuRam are commercial quality. They are definitely not like the locks supplied in a safe purchased at turners or Costco (or other safe brands with inferior locks similar to Sentry, Mesa Safes, Winchester or Sports Afield). Model number of this kit is FPC-1808-II with EL-0601 swingbolt lock The BSL-0601 was phased out in early 2019. We keep submitting the changes to Amazon for this listing, but they haven’t been fully approved as of yet. Hello Scott, It depends on the safe itself. Some of the safes sold at costco had a SecuRam Basic keypad with a Mini solenoid lock installed on the safe. The best way to know for sure, would be to send us a picture of the lock behind the door panel. Q: How do you attach the keypad to the outside of the safe door? It didn't come with instructions and I feel like I must be missing a part or something.

You have to take the back panel off the door. I watched a locksmith do it for me but I wouldn't recommend you try it unless you're good with figuring things out. Cost me about $160 for the locksmith. Hope this helps.
