Sindbad Pure Big Leaf Green Ceylon Loose Tea, 1 Kg

I bought it because most teas are from China and there is an issue with the lead. Not sure if this tea was tested for that but it is a much smaller chance of this tea having the issue being from Ceylon. I hope it is true. It is a LOT of tea and tastes great, love it with honey.

This green tea is large, mature leaves, not the highest grade but good for the price. I use it to make cold brewed iced tea.

I came across this brand in a Russian store in Florida. I bought it because I was dissatisfied with many popular American brands because they no longer taste like tea and taste "fake" with no potency or flavor. When you brew these dry leaves they unfold and look so fresh it's like they just picked it off the tree! Also the flavor is very full and satisfying. Boiling a few of these leaves can be as potent as a medicine because of its strength. You can see my pictures, I overestimated the amount of tea I needed, you only need a pinch. I let family try it and they went crazy for it especially when I made a real potent brew. You will feel it's effects. Since bag I bought was literally. 2lbs of tea I gave a lot out to family and still have easily a year supply left. I also bought an additional bag to share with friends.

This is a seemingly good Ceylon green tea for bulk everyday green tea drinkers.Large whole leaves that appear of good quality. Yes the smaller tips are of higher quality on the plant but despite this, I enjoy seeing the actual plant I'm drinking in comparison to dust that's in a teabag. Most other green teas, especially of larger sizes, appear to be from China and their "organic" labeling in questionable to say the least. This tea appears to be compressed a lot looser and isnt as "shiny" as some other teas due to them being roasted in rice and/or other oils (ever see a film on the surface of your cup of tea?). For the price, I'm most likely consuming an organic tea thats not labeled as such as Sri Lanka appears to maintain high tea practices.If looking for a bulk everyday green tea, give this a try.

As I switched from coffee to tea for health reasons, I’ve been looking for a high quality whole leaf green tea, as this is what I drink during my trips there. This tea is as good as in the region if not better - depending on the way you make your tea - naturally potent, amazing taste not too bitter as I find in the higher quality teas. And you can’t beat the amount you get for the price. I found this green tea (as well as their black tea!) are truly the ones of the best quality and quantity within the price range.

Very good quality green tea at great price. bought this after trying several different ones. Will buy this again.
