Highly recommend this book for 12 to 14 years old.
My grandsons love this book. So glad there are so many good read for boys. I homeschool them. I line to keep them reading good material.

Great kid's book
As with other titles from Carole Marsh, this one is a good one. We have traveled to many of the places she has written about and enjoy recognizing landmarks, etc. My daughter enjoys reading about other children her age.

my daughter enjoys reading the Carole Marsh mysteries. our local library only has a few of her books; so glad I was able to find other books at a great price.

Mystery for older kids, with some info about Yellowstone
I think this would be a great book for older kids, but was not appropriate for my 5-year old daughter. I also thought it would be more about Yellowstone, and less about a mystery -- but I'm sure its great for the right audience.
