I remember the old types of these things. Usually they just had the radio and a light. This thing is like a swiss army knife, but in radio form. :-) The radio is very good, picks up stations well. It has a light at the front, with three options for illumination. It has a reading light under the solar panel on the top, with a motion sensor, and an SOS alarm which is very loud.The version I purchased came with a 4,000 mAh battery. It could be charged (very slowly) via the solar panel, handcranked, or via the USB input. It can also be used as a powerbank, if your phone needs a bit of a charge, although you'd only want to do that in an emergency. Batteries can be replaced.The reflective strip and handy carry lead is a bonus. Especially if you were on the side of a road and you wanted others to notice you, or for easy carrying when backpacking. It's a great item and a must have emergency essential to own.It's very good.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this because I feared the worst lol about all the cost of living problems and global issues. Its a great piece of kit. Radio works well good volume and quality. Had stayed well powered with solar and wind up. Both the flashlight and reading light work well . I think the handle works well too. It's great to use indoors, in the garage or outside

Great solar powered multifuction torch and radio. Has crank handle which turns well and micro usb charging port.Weighs really light considering what it is, with bright colours. There’s 4 lights-one main torch, two led side lights and a flip torch at the top.Radio works well, but aerial may need some strengthening (my toddlers already broken it!). Good volume too, quite loud.Worth it.

No headphone socket

It's all good, reception is fine and sound is tinny but what do you expect. Great you can replace the batteries, which often (in USB rechargeable devices) cannot be done.Knocked off a star because of the siren alarm. For people hiking in bear country or other scenarios it may well be brilliant, but with kids who like to press buttons it's a feature i'd prefer it didn't have.

Muy contento con esta radio. La tengo en la terraza, cargándose con el panel solar.La música de la radio se escucha bien y el volumen puede subirse mucho.El ajuste de la emisora puede costar un poco, no es el mando más fino pero tampoco es imposible.
