This seems like a good quality R-Lipoic product. I like the little extra mg per capsule. The 300 mg capsule seems to do it for my neuropathy. I take in the morning and early evening. Only 2 capsules a day. This is a good dosing per my per day. Not too much. Not too little. Here's my only problem with the product. It was not safety sealed with foil paper at the cap. Nothing. Open the cap and there they are. This concerns me greatly. I took a chance in using the product at all. I have never seen a supplement with no safety seal paper. The saving grace is the product is completely shrink wrapped. However, no safety seal is a complete no go in supplements. I give them a pass and strongly urge the use of sealed bottles. I hope they are listening. A good product I took a chance on, so make it better and provide peace of mind.

Seems to be working , when I take it on an empty stomach I get a bit of lightheadedness for about 30 seconds then I get boast of alertness . I do find that I have to eat something or I’ll get heartburn . Yet over all my inflammation in both my lower legs and feet have lessened, it’s taken away the heaviness. My only complaint is that I’ve run out any Amazon hasn’t been able to get my order to me due to out of stock. Please can someone work on getting me my supply.

I use this product for my peripheral neuropathy. I stopped taking the prescription anti-epileptic medicines because of side effects. This along with l-carnitine helps with the constant burning in my legs, feet and hands. I take 3 - 4 pills a day along with 2000 mg of l-carnitine. It is not easy to find the stabilized R-alpha lipoic acid from any manufacturer so this was a good 'find'. I was taking the synthetic version before (not knowing better) and I notice a difference.

I am into all the anti-ageing and as a molecular biologist I like to evaluate the science.... there are some promising results around this, but still nothing that would make me really jump on it...I bought this one bottle.... have done number of blood test before, during and after.... not seen anything for me.... Of course somebody who MIGHT have a rare pathology that can specifically be addressed by this supplement might benefit but then again.... this is not a drug... so it should NOT be used to cure, diagnose etc... Pills are also somehow large... Won't harm but also doubt it will do any good..... just my opinion (as much as it's informed, the science is still evolving)

I was taking 600 mg of the plain lipoic acid 600 mg and decided to try the R-Lipoc Acid. EXCELLENT product. Feel better and medication seems to last longer, pain is moderately minimal . I can do most everything I did before my Neuropathy.

Update (4th try): after taking this, I developed gas. After the third dose, severe, diarrhea and vomiting. I tried to return it, but found out you cannot return this item even though I just received it. Original review: I understand it was going to be in a plastic bottle and I’m grateful the bottle was actually ~3/4 full. However, look at how much plastic waste there is just to get into the bottle. Waste that isn’t recyclable and will end up in a landfill, decomposing into microplastics and leeching plasticizers, that poison out planet and create disease in our bodies, into the environment. Ironic, since I purchased this to improve my health. I just got these so I can’t tell you if they work.

I was undecided to buy this product because of price.best thing I've done.i have great sensitivity to coatings and fillings on meds and vits.i have no problem taking this.its fantastic.its helping my pain and I've not been taking them that long.my capsules came with sealed top, none were broken,I'm sleeping better at night due to lessening of neuropathic pain lessening.im delighted with these.i will definitely be buying again.
