Pacific Arc 24 Inch T Square, Traditional Acrylic Graduated in Inch and Metric, Detachable Head

I had ordered a metal T square for durability to use my 45mm rotary cutter with but the metal was to thick, my blade would not cut all the material. The nut would hang up on the metal. So reordered this acrylic because it showed a beveled edge. Works perfect! I also like the clearness VRS. solid. Still ridged as the metal t square. I can recommend this if you hook the T over edge of table and tape cutting mat to table. That’s how I do it!……have fun!!

Never have I ever been so content about a purchase, let alone a drafting tool. This t-square is made out of thick clear acrylic so it is great for heavy duty drafting. The head is detachable and it comes with a little traveling case too. I don't think I will be travelling with this tool, but for those who need to, this t-square comes in a cute package and is easy to travel with. Great purchase!

Out of the box this product isn't square and needs to be adjusted before use. There are no notes or instructions in the packaging telling how to do this - it would be good if the company adjusted it before sending it out or added instructions for this process. Fortunately another reviewer gave the instructions and it was easy to adjust. Just turn the screws and align it to something square and tighten the screws while holding both sections in place. The ruler comes in a black case, and that would be a nice feature but it has a horrific chemical odor. The odor filled my house. It had to be double bagged and thrown it in the outside bin, and the house had to be vented for a while to remove the odor. I have asthma that is triggered by strong chemical scents and this did it. As far as the product itself, once I adjusted the screws it works great and I really like it. If you have an asthmatic in your household or someone sensitive to chemical smells, avoid this product. Otherwise, as long as you make necessary adjustments, it seems to be well made. It will be a nice addition to my art studio.

This is not a toy T-square. It is light enough to go to a workshop outside of home but heavy enough to withstand everyday use. I LOVE-that the top can be dis-assembled from rule for easier packing and save storage space. It also comes with a carrying case. Ruler portion has both inches with 1/16 tick marks and millimeters. A mini scale in the middle of the ruler also contains smaller marks for finer measurements. Excellent product for not too much money—great buy!

I use the t-square to do grafting. I like that it is clear to see my grafting. I like that it is 2 pieces and easy to attach together, and I like the handy carrying case.

Good Instrument

Impossible to keep it square due to the detachable head. Since you have to check it every single time before and after to make sure your marks are square, it has absolutely zero value.
