Spice Jungle White Balsamic Vinegar Powder - 4 oz.

Target stores Archers brand had Balsamic vinegar roasted salted almonds, which were AMAZING in flavor. But for some (to me silly silly )reason, they are no longer selling them. Not to be deterred, I first purchased a bag of Balsamic vinegar salt - which as it turns out is cool, but is really sweet (maybe on veges? or baked potatoes? Not sure what yet...) Then I thought I would try this vinegar powder, and it is fantastic. Not only does it give my roasted almonds a very similar flavor to the Target brand, but it is very good on popcorn. I plan to try it on pan fried potatoes next. One point: It is a VERY fine powder, so open away from your face, and hold your breath while sprinkling.

The powder tastes vaguely of vinegar but the maltodextrin flavor is more prominent. It tastes more like starch than vinegar. I bought this to make salt and vinegar seasoning and so it's not really what I need or want.

This is absolutely delicious! I was nervous to buy dried vinegar powder because of the reviews for the other vinegar powders offered on amazon, but this one MUST be different because it doesn't smell bad at all. It is sweet and tangy and actually smells better than vinegar. I love balsamic vinegar in general and white balsamic vinegar is very similar to the red colored one but they cook the grapes at a lower temperature for longer to keep it from changing color and they use white grapes. I use this vinegar powder on my popcorn and absolutely love it!!

Tasted good, but, the strength of the vinegar powder could use a little more flavor boost. I was hoping for more of vinegar taste like one would find on commercial potato chips.

Works great and gives great flavor. I like to mix it with soft butter and rub on chicken.
