For the price, it is a good product. Yes, it sheds. A LOT. But with 2 dogs and 3 humans walking over it constantly for the past month, it is not getting visibly bare or and none of the fibers have been tracked inside. If it gets soaked, it takes forever to dry. We have it on our deck, so after a good rain, I need to hang the mat over the rail to dry. It dries relatively quickly that way--but will not dry out if left flat on the ground. This review seems rather negative, but I really am pleased.

We love everything about this door mat. Very durable as it’s one of the thickest outdoor door mats we found and the perfect size to extend across our front door. The material will fall off but nothing to worry about because the sun and water don’t do anything to it.

I was expecting better, and may message the seller to get a replacement, if at all possible.I got this with the W in "Welcome" being slightly off (uneven and smaller) from what the picture shows, and it bugs me to look at it. Also, pieces of the edge were cut/missing. Makes me nervous that it won't last long.[Update on 7/30/2014:]Returned the first doormat to exchange for another one in better condition. No chunks off the edges this time, but the W is still printed wrong. Something the people printing them need to look at more closely! The "W" in "Welcome" still bugs me, but I went ahead and dealt with it and it's now by my front door.

Graphic is great but fades quickly in direct sun after a few months product started to disintegrate from the heat. To be fair I live in the desert and have it outside my tack room door if I buy a replacement I would use it inside the tack room so the sun wouldn't fade the picture and cause the mat to fall apart.

I recently moved to a new place that has a larger-than-average width front door, and this door mat is the perfect size for it! I was looking for a classic design that included the word "WELCOME" using an equally-classic font, and found this lovely little number that fits the bill perfectly. It is thick and durable, and I'm proud to display it outside, welcoming friends and neighbors to my home.

I have had no issues with this mat. I purchased it about a month ago and the mat has not faded, the decal has not faded or rubbed off, and it is not fraying on the outsides. It is a good quality for a good price, I would recommend it for anyone who has a large front step or double doors.(Update 2/17/2015, one year later): This doormat has held up on our slightly covered front door step through wind, rain, direct sun, and extreme temperature fluctuations. There is only slight fading and fraying which is expected from daily use.

The mat was very nice but didn’t last much not sure if it was because it rained a lot so the Straws would shed.

I ordered the one with the three citrus slices. It's adorable! The quality is great, nice and thick and heavy, and it doesn't "shed" much as coir mats can sometimes do. I love it! Oh, it shipped quickly, too.

Love the colours but sorry to say the quality is poor...the pattern is very sloppy. There is also a blob of red in one of the corners and it is shedding like crazy. I gave it a star only because it matches with my outdoor furniture.

Fun and bright. Brightens up my front stoop. I haven't noticed fibres being tracked into the house.
