PRESERVATIVES MIGHT JUST BE PRESERVING YOU, I THINK THATS SOMETHING YOU MISSED!
This stuff is not FDA approved to be used as a nutritional supplement. You are supposed to use it in oil to make oil last longer. To know why I buy it you need to know the Science of BHT: I learned about it from a book called "life extension a scientific approach" by Dirk Pearson and Sandy Shaw. (google it, and then buy it on amazon before its completely out of print)In clinical trials it makes the rats live a half a lifespan longer than untreated rats. How that transfers to humans is really untested. This is a fat soluble anti oxidant. To under stand this you need to know that vitamin C is a water soluble anti oxidant.Anti oxidants have little extra electrons around them that are easily striped from them. However unlike oxidants when a anti oxidant looses electrons it remains stable and doesn't go stripping elections from healthy cells. Oxidants are missing electrons usually because they are damaged. Oxidants pull electrons away from healthy cells and that causes damage. The damaged cell goes looking for an electron itself. This is a chain reaction. DNA that is messed up will replicate it self as DNA that is messed up. However with a lot of anti oxidants floating around in you the damaged cells can get their electrons with out starting a chain reaction themselves. The chain reaction of damage that occurs with oxidants are supposedly a major cause of aging. However it may be all due to which ever political party you don't like, no one is saying for sure.Even though the FDA said not to take these like a pill I took very large amounts of it for about 7 years in a row. LARGE AMOUNTS! about 8 pills a day. This is 2000 mg I think. Yes I am a human Guinea pig.I haven't had any negative side effects however that is not to say you won't. If you take it you may explode, start loving competitive ice dancing, or think professional wrestling is real. Buyer beware! My wife says I look a lot younger than most people my age, and my kids do too! (enjoy the xbox son)One of the supposed unproven and not kosher is benefits removal of cold sores. Sites say it helps with hepatitis C, herpes or any similar virus. My father in law who has Hep C took some for a while and his liver enzymes went down a lot. I had terrible cold sores on my mouth for most my life. After taking this a while they went away. I can't promise you it will make your cold sores die but thats what happened with mine. Supposedly it interacts with the viruses lipid fatty coating and strips it off the viruses. This makes the immune system able to see the little guys and then kill them dead. Otherwise the viruses look just like fat in the blood stream. That little bit of information may just be a "mike tyson killed my unicorn" the story, I can not say, I can only tell you of my experience and what I have read. If you take medical advice from a amazon review you have trust issues in the opposite way trust issues generally work. Do your homework.Since it is fat soluble it will stay residual in your fat cells for a long time until that fat cell is burned. It will also make alcohol way more effective at making you drunk since it prevents it's break down in your gut.If you choose take this as a nutritional supplement as counter-indicated by the FDA there are some guidelines. The geniuses who used to be in the employ of monsanto or soon will be employed by monsanto that run the FDA have spoken. Thy say taking this as a nutritional supplement is a no-no. If you believe the "government is here to help you" then by all means do not take these as a pill. However if you do take these you have two rules. Take them with oil. These are oil soluble. With out oil they will slide out of your system unused like a plastic mr potato head part. A part like that is neither a MR nor a real potato, despite its name. To your body its just trash passing through and has no business inside your business. I am not saying how I know this but you should never eat a Mr potato head part. If you do you will soon find that out thats a bad bad idea. If you do eat a mr potato head part and later try to do your "do-do" business you will gain this understanding in a painful way. Having a white gloved hand waving to you sticking out of poo is both humorous and disturbing all at the same time. Once again you have been properly warned!BHT without oil is just like that. It just passes though you, how ever BHT will not wave good bye on its way out thankfully. But you will be flushing money down the toilet quite literally.Dosage: I often take three or four when I have eaten something greasy. Dont listen to me though that is what I do. You are different and this is experimental. If you take too many of these at one time you will get high! However its not the kind of "high" voters in Colorado would vote for en mass. No, its the "hey I am high but feel sick at the same time" sort of high that will make you think the FDA guys know what they are talking about when they said these were not to be used as a nutritional supplement! It will feel like drunken ninja hamsters have moved into your stomach and are trying to find a way out. DO NOT TAKE TOO MANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT, ask me how I know.Do your research on the internet by surfing many nutritional sites run by hippies. . The kind that have to have have their milk from super organic free range cows that they personally know by name but will buy drugs from a guy out on the street with a trench coat .Figure out the dosage C A R F U L L Y. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!The idea that anti oxidants can make things age slowly is true in potato chips and just about any food on the planet but if that is also true about human flesh is really anyones guess!Jefferson Starship lyrics from "Eat Starch Mom"I don't care if there's chemicals in itas long as my lettuce is crisp!PRESERVATIVES MIGHT JUST BE PRESERVING YOU, I THINK THATS SOMETHING YOU MISSED!

Killing viruses
Despite its reputation as an eeeeevul food additive, BHT has a very distinct benefit: It strips the coating off lipid coated viruses, leaving them vulnerable to the immune system. "Lipid coated viruses" is a pretty big class, including herpes viruses (that would be not only cold sores and genital herpes, but chicken pox and shingles), HIV, flu, a number of cancer-causing viruses, and Epstein-Barr. I first took BHT in the 1980s, when I was getting cold sores every few weeks. I took 500 mgs per day for a year, and haven't had a cold sore since. It's also a powerful antioxidant, artificial though it may be. But I mostly take BHT to help my body fight viruses.

Very quick and painless transaction
These seem to have more filler than some other brands, which gives them a slight off-white color.

Age defying
I love what it is doing for my health however to add it to my olive oil is inconvenient! Still it’s worth the effort.

Great But be careful
BHT is controversial. I was looking for an alternative to prescription acyclovir and after long research settled on BHT. In tiny doses it was for years a food preservative. It has been shown to reduce (not cure) many viral and bacterial conditions in doses of 250-750 mgs per day most notably herpes. Its disrupts the lipid coat on viruses constructed with a lipid coat and some gram negative bacteria as well as per published medical papers. Be aware of the fact that there are two camps one of which believes that it is dangerous in high doses and may interfere in metabolism of sugars in the body or cause cancer. I believe that the weight of the evidence is that it is not dangerous for use in doses of 250 mg per day and occasionally higher doses for short periods. It is not FDA approved for anything other than food preservation but I am happy with it and it is effective for me. I am not a Doctor but I have been a volunteer medical researcher and clinic administrator. Do your own research please, but again for me its a definite yes!
