Cable failed after a couple weeks.
This is a great idea and certainly comes in handy, but the Lightning attachment failed after just a couple weeks. I keep my keys in my pocket, so I'm sure it experienced normal wear-and-tear, but I didn't drop them or do anything traumatic that I recall. My iPhone no longer recognizes the cable (I've tested it on other phones and gotten the same result, and other cables work fine with my phone). Update to original review: the company hasn't replied to inquiries, so I'm calling this product a loss.

I bought this cable because it was the perfect size to carry around in my backpack
I bought this cable because it was the perfect size to carry around in my backpack! I hate long cables for mobile use because they can get tangled and appear messy - disclaimer: I'm a tad bit organizational.Well, I've had the cable for a few months and it's STOPPED working for me completely out of nowhere. And it's not like I mistreated my cable or there's any sort of visible wear-and-tear on it! Aside from the smudges on it (I purchased the white cable), the product looks the same as the day I bought it. I don't know when exactly it happened, but at first, the cable would stop instantly recognizing my iPhone when I plugged it in. By this I mean, sometimes I would have to fidget my iPhone to get the alert that the iPhone was charging. Then one day, it stopped recognizing it at all. I tried several times over several days on several devices (outlet, iMac, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro) and it just stopped working completely! I believe the cable itself or the wiring inside isn't prepared for heavy usage and bending as expected. It really is a shame because I really enjoyed this cable. I found it to be the perfect size to fit into my backpack, car, pocket, and could take it with me wherever I went. In addition, it's a nice size to have for iMacs because the cable won't be visible in the back, so it'll always be there connected to instantly connect your iPhone to your iMac if need be.If you have any other questions, leave a comment! I may make a Youtube Review on it.So yeah, be aware of this. If you plan to buy this cable, either 1) be very careful with it or 2) expect to use it for a matter of months.

Hard to Put on Key Ring
It arrived today and it seems to fit my iPhone just fine. The reason for not giving it 5 stars is that it just barely fit on my key ring. I had to use a screwdriver to hold the ring open so I could slide it on. I've never had to do that before with keys, etc. that are on the ring now. I wasn't sure it would make it but it did with no room at all to spare. I don't know why they didn't make the opening a little larger... or even better, in a rounded shape, so it will move around the key ring rather than being just about stationary. Also, it would be nice if there were a tab or something for the "lid" so that it would be easy to remove .. maybe something like the old Apple charger where we would squeeze in the sides to remove it. I gave it a try and it was hard for me to pull it off but it is do-able, thank goodness.

Good little cord
Small, effective, and worth the money I paid. The neck of the cord is flexible enough that you can attach it to your device on a car charger and have it droop down to sit down on whatever is below it--assuming, of course, that there is a stable surface close below your charger. It's not a perfect solution for a charger cord, but it is fine for an emergency--or if you forget your cord somewhere. My only concern is the fact that the A-end of the cord slips into a cap. I've had issues in the past with caps eventually failing and not holding on to the cord end. This doesn't seem to be a problem as yet, but we will have to wait and see how it goes.

Works Great!
Works better than the little micro-USB to lightning adapter from apple. I don't know if its because of the cable length but, it was getting frustrating when my devices show "this device may not be supported" when I use the apple micro-USB lightning with a short cable to connect to external power packs that "say" they provide 2.1A. Now I just grab this off of my keychain and plug it in and voila! This is sturdy too! The flat short cable is strong and made to hold up to abuse. My only wish is that they sold it in more colors. :-)

Nice gift
I got this for my friend who is always running out of battery on his iPhone. He carries it everywhere and loves it. The only complaint he has is that the cord is really short. I can't really take off any stars for that reason given that the measurement is in the product title. Overall, really satisfied with the purchase. I feel like he will likely lose the detachable piece in the near future but again not something I can take stars away for.

perfect size
I had the Android version and recently purchased the iPhone compatible one, since I switched phones. It gets the job done and I think it's the perfect size compared to other key rings. I also like how it's bendy. My only gripe is that there isn't a cap for the apple one... i wonder why.

Great minimal cable
Been using this with it attached to my keychain for a few weeks now. The holder keeps it locked in tight and I have no fear that it is going to fall out of the holder any time soon. It being an official cable means I don't get a notification about it when I plug it in. I pair it with this on also my keychain: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FSD4EJM/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 so that I never lose power wherever I am at
