DOES NOT WORK IN UK
App (Flo By Moen) not available in UK on IOS or Android to operate the device. This is a shame because the device looked to be well made. At least the seller gave a full refund.

Flo App not available in UK iPhone app store
Received the product only to find the iOS application is not available in the UK rendering the product a pile of useless plastic and metal. Without the app you cannot creat and account to monitor the devices. Strongly suggest if UK based and on IOS you find another solution that will work. This will not and pointless. Now wasting my time to return the item. Adding it took 10 days to arrive.

Easy to setup, works great
I've been looking around for a battery operated water sensor, this one was a little on the pricey side. But the app was easy to use and setup. If you have a bandsteering unified wifi you might momentarily lose connection during setup if your phone is setup to use 5Gz, as this is a 2.4Ghz, the device will momentarily show disconnected during the setup phase, disconnect from your wifi and reconnect and you'll be fine, I had it up and running in 10 minutes. I dont know why people were complaining finding batteries for this, any of the big box stores have them. And if yours came with a dead battery return it for a new one.

Battery issues on setup
The reviews stating battery is no good out of the box is all true. When I opened the box the unit was flashing blue meaning it had battery power. Wouldn’t connect to my phone during setup. Due to previous reviews I also ordered some batteries. Measured shipped battery at 2.5v.New battery installed, unit seems to work fine. Unit seems very cheaply made. If you order this item buy some batteries too.Expensive unit for poor quality control.

More info backup required
No instructions re setting up in box. Finally got it working after search youtube. Stopped working when wifi ( as a result of nbn outage) and haven’t been about to get it going since. Assuming battery supplied was depleted and can’t make any further suggestions until I purchase a battery - not a common one you have around the house so buy a few for future replacement

Minor mounting issues, and a bit tricky network setup
The adhesive doesn't last very long (separated from the unit base and dropped the whole unit into the sump pit, fortunately the pit was dry at the time), so use a screw. The "base" for this device has a very small hole for a screw, it may be hard to find one that small and long enough to mount onto drywall. The initial setup was somewhat tricky - it refused to pair after several attempts. I had to contact Moen support which was great. It appears that IOS utilizes a weird privacy network (mis)-feature which is entirely unnecessary on a private network, but will interfere with the moen device attempting to connect to the network during pairing. If I recall correctly, the (mis)-feature is called MAC anonymization, which is minimally of use ONLY when you're roaming on public wifi. Which you really shouldn't do anyway.
