Had 4 of them leak
I don't know if these need a different torque spec or something than the standard motorcraft FL1A, but I have 2 mild hotrods, each are fitted with remote dual oil filter setups, that I've ran for years with motorcraft FL1A filters with no issues. I figured I'd give these a try for the heck of it on the next oil change. All 4 of them leaked at the rubber gasket. Tried tightening them up a hair to see if maybe these just needed to seal a little bit more, and they continued leaking (one actually got worse). Ended up pulling them off and putting on 4 standard Motorcraft FL1A filters and never even had so much as a drip from them since. Maybe I got 4 duds? Maybe I did.... Something wrong tightening them? I don't know. But the standard FL1A's haven't had any issues before or since. So..... Just fair warning.

Best filters
Only filters I trust on my 4 babies, been using them since 1993. Most times they can be found cheaper elsewhere than here though.
