Excellent chair
Su far so good, for a first wheelchair that's not custom fit it's pretty good. I chose this one because it had the narrow seat which is great and fits me perfectly but so many other factors I've found after purchase have made it a good choice. I did take care to measure my width sitting down and made sure the measurement was snug enough. I can walk but only about 20m with crutches before crashing and using a chair seemed like a good solution. My poor dogs who haven't been out in 3 months can now get down the field with me and they won't go with anyone else. I'm very weak now but can't afford electric, the thought of pushing was daunting but actually it isn't all that bad and this was a really good price. Obviously on grass it's more difficult, and yes it can do grass and rough tracks because the casters are quite big. The instruction book said not to use on grass or uneven surfaces, a bit contradictory for an all terrain chair I might add. It's also a job getting up hills and oh my gosh you see hills where there were none before. It's easy to fold and unfold, a little annoying taking the pads on and off before and after every use but it doesn't fit through my door unless it's folded. Not the chairs fault but my house design. If I was completely immobile I'd have to move house. Just about everything is adjustable, arm rests, push handles, feet rests, just not seat height. If it was perfect I'd go a little lower but it's but a custom build and good enough. Seat height is apparently is key to getting center of balance for a wheelie, hands should reach center of your wheel, I'm just short. (Wheelie is recommended in the instructions for getting up kerbs) I have successfully mastered a wheelie indoors or rather a 'pop up' wheelie but couldn't when I actually faced a kerb outside, I think it's fear even though it has the anti flip wheels at the back that do actually work. I'll have another go next time I'm out. I can't actually hold it for traversing rough terrain.but not an issue at this point, I think I'd need to drop the chair further back to find center balance but I'm not brave enough to remove the anti flip wheels, not yet. Summing up, strong and sturdy, good fit, folds easy, lightweight and looks good. I should also point out it arrived well before expected delivery date. Found it sitting on my doorstep only 2 days after purchase when a week was advised

Great piece of kit
Bought for my father who can no longer walk due to dementia and is in a care home. The care home has its own wheelchairs, but these are all small wheeled "transit" models, with solid tyres (typically marketed as "unpunctureable"). The transit chairs are fine indoors but when used outside, the ride over any distance is pretty uncomfortable (especially given the general state of the roads and pavements). The large pneumatic tyres on this Mobiquip all terrain chair make a huge difference when taking my father out - he is much more comfortable and has stopped flinching every time we go over a bad bump. This means that we can go much further afield than before and opens up a lot more possibilities in terms of places we can visit etc. It arrived quickly and the only assembly required is unfolding it and putting on the front foot supports - instructions on this could've been a bit better but I got there fairly quickly. It is quite lightweight and folds up into a really compact shape, so it's fine parked in a corner of his room in the care home - we just use it when we want to take him outdoors. I also found it easier to push than the transit models. For anyone worried about getting punctures in the pneumatic tyres, the outer tyres are pretty thick mountain bike-style ones, which should offer a degree of protection. It also comes with a replacement inner tube and a bicycle pump, which attaches to the underside of the chair. I wasn't expecting that and thought it was a nice touch. For the money, I think this is brilliant value, especially when compared with prices for similar wheelchairs elsewhere. I didn't want to spend a huge amount on the chair because it is not going to be used day to day - only when we want to take my father out. Some reviewers have commented negatively on the little anti-tip wheels at the rear. I haven't found these to be a problem. I haven't got them fully extended so that they rest on the ground - they are one notch up from that (so they are a few centimetres off the ground). I think that is probably enough to stop tipping right back (and in any event, my father isn't able to propel the wheelchair - so there would normally be someone behind it pushing and hopefully able to stop any tip-up). In any event, the wheelchair itself feels pretty stable, so I would think there's a reasonable chance the anti-tip wheels will never actually be needed. The brakes also seem very robust and are effective in stopping wheel movement once fully engaged.

Excellent wheelchair
Excellent wheelchair. Arrived quickly. Very comfortable and robust. My husband has cancer which spread to his hip. Transporting him around is much more bearable for him to endure compared to the hospital wheelchairs. Very easy to assemble and fold away. Easy manoeuvring, good brake system. I got the 20 inch seat just to allow for extra comfort and he is 6,3. I'd need a narrower one for the house as it exceeds my narrow hallway. It is quite heavy lifting out the car. But i am very pleased with it and so is he.

A great wheelchair considering the price
This is a great wheelchair for the price. It folds up well, so that putting it in the car is not a problem. It is very versatile in that it makes a fairly good self-propelled wheelchair as well as a good transit (pushed by carer) wheelchair. The flip up arm rests are a bonus for some. It is also reassuring that it has anti-tip small wheels at the back, which gave my 13 year old confidence to do 'wheelies" knowing that she couldn't really hurt herself (but great for older customers too who need to tilt the chair to get up kirbs etc). The push/pull handbrakes that can be reached by the wheelchair user work well. The chair also looks super sporty and cool, which is especially great for younger customers. It is comfortable, but it would benefit from the addition of a separate thick cushioned seat, because the original one is quite thin though slightly padded. The only minor complaint I would have is that there are wheelchairs out there that are easier to push/ manoeuvre for users who are in their chair much of the day, everyday, but these come at a different price point altogether. The wheelchair can deal with problematic terrain like cobbled streets (like we have in the old parts of Liverpool city center). All in all, it's a great wheelchair for people who don't need to be self-propelling all day, everyday. Those people might need to go up in price to find their perfect wheelchair, but if their budget limits them to under ยฃ450, I bet this is the best one they'll find.

Fit for purpose
This chair has been a life saver so far. I havenโt used it for long so I cannot speak regarding consistency but overall itโs been amazing so far. The all terrain wheels live up to their name and the anti-tip wheels are a life saver. It is easy to do wheelies in to get over curbs and the anti-tip wheels allow you to get up ramps without fear of falling back. The adjustable armrests allow for a more comfortable position when self propelling and it is also very easy to push. For the price it is an amazing chair. It even comes with a tire pump which attached under the chair and a spare tire inner circle incase of puncture on the go. Could not recommend more.

Very Sturdy and Comfortable
I am very impressed with the quality of this product it is easy to put together and dismantle to put in the boot. My wife tells me it is very comfortable and she likes the fact that you can position the armrests how you personally want them. The wheels detatch easily and you can also take off the handles if you use it without someone pushing you. It is easy to fold and also comes with a pocket on the back of the back rest to keep the little pouch of tools that comes with it. The only real down side is that the tyre pump that comes with it is abit cheap and not the easiest to get off which means air loss, however I used our decent bicycle pump so it wasnt a big issue. It also came very well packaged and was delivered within the specified time slot. My wife did say it takes abit of getting used to having the chunkier tyres when she is using it on her own, but we wanted something that could go better over rougher terrain. We havent yet tried this out so are unable to give an opinion as yet.

Best wheelchair ever!
We bought this wheelchair to use for an amputee. This chair is not only sturdy and lightweight but perfect for anyone that is slightly taller. Previous wheelchairs have been a lot lower to the ground causing a poor posture and creating back ache, whereas this one is great for my fiancรฉ as he is over 6ft tall. It's is light and very manoeuvrable for me to push as well as for him to self propel. The cushions are comfortable and the all terrain wheels are great on grass. We are yet to try it on other terrains such as gravel and compacted sand. Would highly recommend for a permanent wheelchair user.

Brilliant
I got this in 2022 as a temporary whilst the one fitted to me was being built, that's still being built and I'm still using this one. It's brilliant for outdoors, my son is Autistic and I regularly have to go over the schools field to get him, it has alot of holes, you have to practice but once you get the hang of it it's amazing going over grass. It's also great in city environments, especially when theres no drop down curbs or the road's wonky, i fit through pretty much all single doors in the city and in some smaller shops like florists or farm shops, people are forever asking me where I got it from. I must say its not so great in any of the woodland ive tried to go into, but i live in a area full of hills. When I get my chair thats fitted to me I can use the wheels from this one when I want to, which will likely be all the time, I love the chunky wheels. When they get a puncture, (only 2 so far and I've pushed it hard) you can take it to your local bike shop and they can pop a new one in for you. It cost about ยฃ15 and when the tire wears down they can change that too. The flld down handles are great aswell, there one of the thing i appreciated the convenience of the most, i can put them away when im moving round so i dont bash my elbows and when im stuck in a waiting room i can just pop them back up to lean on. The only down side is when you put fold the back down, the metal surrounding the handles is sticking up in a half circle shape, a couple of times I've leaned over the back and stabbed myself with them, they didn't break the skin but they did bruise pretty bad. Also the breaks are a bit high and bulky, i self propel mostly and I've bashed my thumbs against the breaks so many times I can't tell you, I also can't walk my assistance dog with this one because his lead always gets tangled up on the break handle which is a massive shame for me ๐ช All in all it's an amazing little wheelchair and has given me a heck of a lot more freedom then I had before ๐
