Couch Skeletons Card Game - Quick and Easy 2 Player Game by The Dusty Top Hat

This game is very fun. My clients LOVE it!

Super fun and easy to learn game for 2 players. I bought two decks so 4 people could play in teams of 2. Haven’t tried that yet, but I think it will work great. My plan is to mark the second deck so if we want to play just 2 players it is easy to separate the cards again. The skeletons are cute and the game is colorful. I would definitely recommend!

My friend introduced me to this game. I was so addicted I bought own. It's my new favorite. It's easy to learn and can be explained in a minute. Very simple concept that even elementary kids can grasp. The game play can last anywhere between 1-20 minutes. I like that it's small, litetally a deck of cards, and can be thrown into any bag. I've taken it so many places and everyone I introduce the game to have also loved it. Some of my cards are getting creases in them, but they have seen a lot of play. The skeleton designs are fun, but I would have made them potatos and called the game "couch potatos"!

I purchased the game on sale for $8, which is a fair price point for what you get. To be clear, it's for 2 players only. My wife and I are avid gamers, and we enjoy a quick game after dinner (before we start a movie), and Couch Skeletons is great for this purpose. It's an extremely easy, short game. Rounds last for 1-3 minutes (we even had some rounds that were over within 30 seconds). Because of the short nature of the rounds, it doesn't feel terribly competitive, but the temptation for "just 1 more round" is very great. It's easy to play 3-5 rounds in just 10 minutes. The game feels like "solitaire light". You either place cards on TOP of each other or BESIDE each other, trying to fill all 5 positions with your colored cards. I won't get into the exact rules, but they're not totally clear. We were able to fill in some of the blanks and figure it out, but there's so little strategy, the ambiguity doesn't really impact the experience. The game also came with a few bonus cards for other games, which you can use if you own those games. I don't have those games, but it was a nice gesture. I'll hang onto the bonus cards in case I ever purchase those games. Couch Skeletons probably won't ever be a "favorite" game (or even in the top 10), but I still recommend it due to how quickly it plays. I envision playing a few rounds on an airplane or at a hotel, so it will be great for travel. Keep an eye our for this item to go on sale, and pick it up if you're interested in an extremely quick, warm-up game before playing other games, or as a travel game. The quality of the product is fine. It feels like a deck of playing cards. I give it 4 stars because it feels like it's "missing" something. It needs another layer of strategy, or alternate ways to play. But still a fun game.

This is a super fun game! Great to teach kids numbers. Quick to play so nobody gets bored ! The pictures are cute! Love it!
