I bought a four-pack of these Etekcity lanterns years ago and I love them. In fact I returned here today to purchase some more of them for a couple of my relatives. I have used mine for power outages due to severe winter weather and thunderstorms and these lights performed beautifully and illuminated the entire downstairs. One of my neighbors actually came over and asked if my electricity had somehow been restored and of course I said no, and that I have these awesome lanterns that throw a surprisingly amount of nice white light. He thought I had somehow had my power restored or that maybe I had a generator running because my downstairs looked so bright. He was so impressed that he ordered a four-pack of them too. I particularly like that the hue of these lanterns is a "cool white" which is a very white light; not that awful yellowish tint which I cannot stand. These are a nice white light similar to a fluorescent light. I'm pleased that these little lanterns throw a lot of white light. And the batteries will last quite a while too. I ran one of mine as a test for close to 50 hours non stop to see how long the batteries would last. I have Eneloop high capacity rechargeable batteries installed in mine and it works out very well as those are a very low self discharge type of battery and they hold their charge extremely well. LED's don't use a lot of "juice" so you'll get a lot of bang for your buck with these lanterns. You certainly cannot beat the price of them. Buy these! We bought a second order because they are so handy and everyone in my family uses them loads. They have magnets on them to easily position them under cabinets when doing auto work, they light up under cabinets for plumbing work. The kids use them a bunch to carry around when playing at night. Often we hang them from trees to light up an area when entertaining. Of course they’re super handy during storms when the electricity is out. They are SO bright and light up large areas. The kids even hook them to their Halloween bags for trick or treating so they’re used as an easy flashlight and can be seen by cars. They’re small but light and lightweight.

Worth the money definitely!!! I've already come back and ordered another set just so I could have a few more. They are excellent lanterns. Very bright lights. They are so small and lightweight that you wouldn't think they would be this bright but they are! They are easy to use. Very durable. Very functional. They can be used for so many things! It's great to always have some on hand in case of emergencies! Magnet strength.

I bought a four-pack of Etekcity lanterns 1 year ago and they’ve been amazing. They lit up my entire downstairs during power outages so well that a neighbor thought I had a generator! The cool white light is bright and clean—much better than the yellowish tint of other lanterns. I use Eneloop rechargeable batteries and got nearly 50 hours of continuous use from one lantern. Great light, long battery life, and unbeatable value. Highly recommended!

This latern flashlight is really good. I used it during camping and it was very useful. It gives a enough brightness and I like that you can adjust brightness by collapse later. Very light weight so you can hand on tent so you don’t need to hold. Overall good

Had been looking for some time for some portable lamps that used batteries (not USB rechargeable) and was not able to find many. Came across these ones and was not disappointed, the light is more than enough and you can adjust brightness. Size is also great and they're not heavy at all. I actually bought a set for my elderly mom just in case lights go out and she loved them. Easy to use and put batteries on (because yes, there are others that are a bit rough especially for elderly people).

Really nice and bright for the small size. Easy to use as well. Finally something that doesn’t need assembled.
