I have tried dip sets, I can’t figure out how to keep them from cracking. Regular gel I still have issues with it chipping early. I have to keep my nails short for my job and they sometimes are thin and I wanted to keep some nail integrity. This took some practice but they came out really decent. I was able to freehand them without the forms well after some trial and error— the forms were too curved for my nail beds and the ends ended up thick with them and i couldn’t stand it—but free handing the gel into place worked awesome. It’s been a few days and they seem solid. This will be my new go to.

To say I freakin love this is an understatement. I SUCK at doing my nails…always have. Until now. No exaggeration. It’s super easy, colors are great (a bit more subtle than the pics but can be more bold if you use more product than me). The only “complaint” I have is that they have broken easily…but this could easily be user error (I am still learning best practices with it). Even if it’s not user error I don’t even care, I love this. I don’t feel like my nails look trashy anymore or like reg glue in nails. I’ve tried both reg glue ons and acrylics and no luck with either they come out looking awful (I know that’s user error but I’m sure plenty of people are like me in this that want pretty nails but can’t afford to spend $80+ every couple of weeks). Don’t forget to get the clips and a led lamp for them! You won’t regret this purchase though!

For the price it’s a good kit. I can not use the Polygel on its own as the colors are way too light for my skin, but I have a nice collection of shellac polish I use over it. The stilleto tips run very small I cant find a fit for my thumb nails, but you can use the other dial form tip. Also please please please get some clips!! I didn’t know if they were needed, but I strongly suggest getting some so you can do more than one or two nails at a time. Overall good kit for price and good materials.

I have been using this for a couple weeks now and it is amazing. I started doing nail about a year ago and wanted to try this. The fist couple of times it didn’t turn out perfectly and that’s because I did not know how to use it properly. Know that I know, I use this all the time to create beautiful nail extensions. I love that it comes with everything you need to get started with. And the colors are also so nice. Love this product

I have always been a Beetles fan and have purchased many of their products. Let me say that the quality for the price is superior to many others. I have a Beetles LED lamp that has lasted me 3 years and I use it weekly. This polygel kit is so easy to use and has been a lot of fun. I love the minimal amount of damage to my nails and the effort is pretty low (for any beginners). Instructions are very clear and thorough. This is a steal for the price!

I normally use Gelish but I wanted to try Beetles because of the amount of colors and types available and of course because of the economical price. I really wanted to love it. However, I did a trial run on just two nails to make sure I wouldn’t have any sort of negative reaction (PLEASE find reviews about these reactions—it’s very scary). Granted, I wasn’t using a dust collector and I should have been but I never use one with Gelish. The SMELL of this was pungent, odd and STRONG right out of the box. I’m not new to gel polish. I’ve used it since it came out years and years ago and have used pretty much all of the salon brands. But the smell with this one nothing I had ever experienced. It was from another world and not in a good way. I went ahead and did my two trial nails hoping that the smell would dissipate after I finished them. The nails came out well and I was happy with the performance of the products. But the smell did not lessen whatsoever. My Dyson air filter started reporting my air quality as “severe” for chemical levels. It had gotten late so I went to bed despite my concern about the continued strong smell. The next morning, the smell had permeated my entire home (around 2500 square feet) including every textile that is in use in my home (bedding, throw blankets, clothes, etc.). My Dyson and Guardian air filters are both still screaming at me warning me of high levels of chemicals present in the air. Fortunately, I live in a warm climate where the temperature today is a mild 68 degrees and there’s a strong ocean breeze. I’ve had to open every window and door and turn on all ceiling fans and stand alone fans as well as every air purifier I own. It’s worth mentioning that my HVAC system is only four years old and has a top of the line filtration system to include two different types of UV lamps so I also have it running on high. I’m having to do everything and anything to try and get this smell to go away. Today I will have to spend the day washing every textile that’s been exposed and dusting and vacuuming every surface and item that exists in my home. I also have a sore throat, a headache that won’t quit and I’m coughing a lot. My two dogs are coughing, too. Needless to say I removed the two trial nails and polish as fast as I possibly could. Despite washing my hands over and over I can’t get the smell off them, either. This is crazy and it’s probably dangerous!! Please save yourself the trouble, save your lungs, and save your home by NOT purchasing any Beetles products. It’s just not worth it.

I love how simple it is to apply and how gorgeous it looks! Feel like i just came out of a salon for a fraction of the price. There is a small learning curve and the first nail or two had bubbles but well see how they hold up :)

This product has everything you need aside from a drill, UV light and some good nails files. Of course acetone too. By no means am I a nail artist, however, I’ve always been decent at doing my own nails. This is my first time trying this polygel. It took me hours to do mine. Be prepared for that if you’re beginning. I don’t think you can go wrong with this set especially for the price.

Colour is not matching I was expecting to be more deep coral colour turn out but pinkish (colour number 192). Other than that easy to use first time doing my nails by myself . I would say not bad to begin with

The media could not be loaded.  I want so bad to be able to give more stars because this is the strongest brand I’ve tried so far (as in they don’t break after a day) But I found it takes FOREVER to cure, and also, GAVE ME CHEMICAL BURNS ON MY FINGERS. I’ve used other brands of poly gel that have not done this to my fingers. My finger tips have been in so much pain for a week now. And once the skin starts to grow back it just dries up and peels more. So if you have sensitive skin I would not recommend.

Love Beetles products, this is a great value set. Colours are amazing and prefect overall.
