Doesn't serve the purpose
It's a good concept for diabetics during travel. But the thing is the outer box doesn't have temperature maintaining capacity. The inner blue box is the only worth item in this package. I replaced the outer box with a flask purchased outside. It happened like I paid rs 7000 for the blue inside ice box. I didn't find such mounded blue box anywhere outside so purchased it.

Great product
This is the best pen cooler for my insulin that I have purchased, I have tried several. Stays cool for well over 24 hours in Florida.

Extended protection time
I use needed a means to keep a self-admisistered new medication for migraine prevention refrigerated for an extended period for an upcoming trip. With connections and ground transport I expect to need cooling for at least 21+ hours and wanted some margin of leeway beyond this. I tried one of the insulated "cooler' type products with four freezer packs abd used a thermometer to test it with a used injection pen, and the pen reached room temperature of above 70F after about 9-10 hours, so I returned it and purchased this unit based on the chart on the product page as well as buyer comments. My own tests did not match the charts precisely, but with an ambient temp of 78F the pen stayed at or below 48F up as of 24 hr45min. At 27 hours it climbed to 59F. I am comfortable it will meet my needs. While some customers reported that international carriers would accomodate refrigeration needs of flyers, according to both the domestic carrier (Delta) and overseas airline (British Air) web sites this is not the case, and though some crews might help out I think it unwise to try and rely on them ignoring their own stated policies. The "case" is basically a small insulated "thermos" type bottle, with a screw top utilizing a soft rubber-like seal. There are two different "cold packs" supplied with the bottle, along with two velvet pen bags and a celcisus thermometer. The bluse cold pack contains some sort of material which, when the pack is put in the freezer for 6 to 8 hours, freezes solid. The other (white) bottle can be filled with cold water to be used in an emergency to extend the "cool time" of the medication. It is the same "U" shape and size of the blue cold pack. Both have screw on tops, though it is unclear to me why the one on the blue cold pack is not sealed, and I have some concern that some TSA staff might question this. In addition to an instruction insert the instructions are repeated graphically on the sides of each of the cold packs. Other than that the devise is well machined and all parts seem of high quality. In terms of capacity "it depends." If your pen or medication is not included in the thoughtful chart in the listing, you can only measure what you have and find the nearest comparable item described in this chart. In my case, the measured size of my pen made it clear that the bottle would only hold one. This is not a problem for me as this is a once a month injection and I will be back in the US before I will rquire another one. I ordered the red version of the bottle as I thought that might help in makiing it look more like a medical device than a thermos for a hot or cold beverage.

Perfect Med Traveler
Perfect med traveler! When unable to freeze the packs, I used ice and managed to get thru Ireland and Scotland without a hitch!

Keeps your GLP-1/Insulin cold and protected.
THIS WORKS AMAZING. This kept my medication cold for a very long flight, and it continued for even longer. It did only hold one ( larger) pre-loaded pen, but that is because of the ice pack that goes inside. The guide in the description for each medication sizes is correct. It protects the medication as well because it is very durable. It fits nicely in a water bottle sleeve of a tote bag. Loved the red color so it was easy to spot in my bag.

Works well but wish it was a tiny bit bigger
We've used this a couple of times for trips this summer and it does work well. Keeps insulin cold for quite a while, until you can get it to a refrigerator or cooler. I was frustrated that it holds 2 insulin pens and I really was hoping it had a little space at the top for an insulin bottle but it doesn't. My son uses a pump, but when we go out of town we always take back ups of everything (the pens) but of course need just the standard insulin bottles to fill his pump. The only other option with this bottle is a large bottle that holds multiple pens, I think with a family in mind that has more than one person with diabetes. Of course I didn't want to go that big. This would be perfect it it were just a tad longer, you could put an insulin bottle in the very top.
