Some Flaws but a Great Help
After a shipping snafu ( I was sent the wrong product - more about that below), I received my ReadyDesk and I am very glad I have it.Pros: It is a sturdy addition to my home office and it can stand up to the task of me and my multi- laptop work situation. I am fairly heavy handed and I have not felt like my desk will topple over. Additionally, I like the wood look and it matches my home decor sensibilities.Cons: The desk sometimes slides ( it did not come with grips, like their laptop stand does) so that makes for a jarring work experience sometimes. Also, as another review mentioned there are some unfinished edges which snag on my sweater and gave me a splinter when I was putting the desk together. The desk pieces also fit too snugly together in some places leading to application of additional elbow grease. These things are not a big deal to me but contributes to the loss of a star.On another note, I was sent the wrong product initially but the team at ReadyDesk quickly responded and sent it out within the next week so I just wanted to give a shout out to the ReadyDesk crew. It is always great to support a small business that actually does good customer care.

Great desk for standing and sitting.
This desk is wonderful because:1 - it is sturdy, the monitor never shakes2 - The top shelf adjusts to a good height for my 24" Samsung monitor.3 - The 2nd shelf holds my laptop. I put a bluetooth portable keyboard on my desktop and can use the laptop screen for seated work.4 - I have my display settings adjusted to duplicate my laptop display on my monitor. It takes about 5 seconds to convert myself from sitting to standing (or from standing to sitting). That is a heck of a lot faster than going from sit to stand with one of those expensive, motorized desks. Here is how I do it (pay close attention so you don't miss a step, hah!): a) Stand up b) Close your laptop lid c) Move your portable keyboard from the desktop to on top of your laptop, and your bluetooth-enabled mouse (if you use one) next to your laptop, d) Press the power button on your monitor. That's it. Simple, Fast, Effective and Economical. Enjoy your new desk!I paid the regular Amazon price - got nothing to write this review.

Didn’t support the weight
I really wanted to like this standing desk converter. It has a great, minimalistic design that was easy to assemble. The issue was it could not support my 25 pound ultra wide monitor. The top shelf should be able to support up to 75 pounds, however once I placed my monitor on the top shelf, it began to slowly tip forward

IKEA-looking
So easy and sturdy - great for a tall person - I place my laptop underneath and sit at that when I want - otherwise … no real ‘quick’ adjustment but I am very happy with it!

Love!
So far I'm loving this desk. Standing takes a little getting used to but after just one day, I noticed that my lower back pain had improved by about 80%. The desk doesn't easily adjust to sitting down as many of my coworkers have pointed out (they even started rallying to buy me a stool), but I'm quite okay with standing. I feel like my concentration has improved and I am able to focus on my work much easier. I'm living in San Diego right now and happy that they are a local company. At first I was a little worried putting it together as the corners where it comes together started to chip and I wasn't sure the right amount of force to use. But once I got the swing of things it came together pretty easy. I have a 24 inch monitor and 15 inch laptop that both sit nicely upon the top shelf. I'm 5'3" and its a perfect height for me. It doesn't scoot across my desk or wiggle as I type. However, we are on the 2nd floor building and the floors shake as people walk/stomp on them causing a little bit of wiggle, but not enough to cause any concern.

Perfect solution for working from home!
Was tired of using boxes for my monitor and keyboard This was so easy to put together. The “joints” are a little tight where you connect the pieces but I just used a towel over the wood and hammer to get everything tightly together. Fits nicely on my counter top until and I like that I can have everything organized- there are slots to guide wires through in the back. Definitely recommend as a cost effective way to get a standing desk. I have the shelves set on a lower notch as I am using it on my counter top so it’s a higher surface to start with but this will be perfect on a desktop and I can raise up the shelves to a higher level

Back and life saver
We relocated for a month during the pandemic. I use a standing desk in my home office and thought I could suck it up for a month seated at strange desk with a dining room chair -- wrong. Got Readydesk 2 and it was a perfect solution -- it even had room for my podcasting microphone on a small stand next to my laptop. When it came time to go home, I disassembled it in a minute and the parts lay flat in our car's cargo bay. Perfect solution and I will take it on upcoming trips.

Most of the desk was missing--where were all the other pieces?
When I picked up the box, it was lighter than expected, and I hoped the desk would be sturdy enough. But when I opened the box, the reason for the low weight was obvious: there was only one piece, the other five were missing. To add insult to injury, dirty shoe prints marked the assembly instructions.I suppose in the future I'll laugh, but right now I'm just frustrated. Now I need to go find another desk....
