Major relief after suffering with Plantar Fasciitis. I don't wear shoes without them anymore!
Got these after suffering from Plantar Fasciitis. They were perfect. I first discovered them in 2016 and haven't worn shoes without putting Sole footbeds in them ever since. Except... I did purchase new shoes recently and ordered new Sole inserts for them but they hadn't arrived yet. I went for a few long walks and very short jogging without them and started getting foot pain. when the Sole inserts arrived I had no more problems. They have excellent arch support. I saw a reviews that say "Life Changing" and "Miracle" which may sound extreme but I fell pretty much the same way. I had custom inserts made for me through the VA. I tried them for a while and they were better than nothing but I ended up taking them out and using the Sole inserts in every shoe I own.The Ultras are thick so it's good to take them with you when you try on shoes. I have tried the thick, medium, and thin versions of Sole inserts and use all three depending on how much room there is in the shoe. I highly recommend all of the Sole Inserts (Footbeds). They are well worth the investment and will spare your feet from lots of pain. I have tried heat molding them but prefer to just put them in and let them mold naturally to my feet. They last a long time. I've really never worn any out to the point that I through them away. I just bought new ones because I felt like I'd had them so long and moved the older ones to shoes that I rarely wear. I love this product.

Next to Custom moulded inserts from the Doctor, these work for me.
Plantar Fasciitis is now the #1 complaint seen by foot doctors and Custom Molded Orthotic Insoles are the #1 prescribed treatment. Which may be why some insurance companies (like my employers) won't cover a dime.I had been suffering from the aforementioned condition for 6 months before getting to a doctor who's examination and X-Rays showed I had a fallen arch and a heel spur causing the Plantar Fasciitis.Had been using ProFoot inserts from the local drug stores and he put me on nabumetone 750 mg tablets for a few months. The medication and the stretching exercises got me back on my feet, literally, but I still had a tinge of the aliment. But I wasn't ready to commit to the Insoles he prescribed yet as they were $300.00.That's where these puppies come in. I already had a pair of Sole Thin Sport's from a local foot store which fit my working shoes (dress loafers and slip-on's) very well and worked far better than the ProFoot's. But they are too thin for regular shoes or work boots.I decided to give these a try. I matched them to the previous pair I had and trimmed them up or you can remove the insole in your current shoe and use that as I guide. I didn't heat them prior to use as they will conform to your feet over time anyway while wearing them. I just popped them in the intended shoe's and wore them around the house for awhile. Both pairs I have provide phenomenal arch support and cup my heels very well. I have no pain when running, standing or walking in either pair. At this price point I'm very satisfied. I held off on giving five stars as I don't yet know the longevity of the products but I would definitely buy another pair.

These are the best footbeds I've used
These are the best footbeds I've used, after trying many different brands and reading dozens of reviews. Consider this a longterm review; I've been using Sole footbeds for over ten years in trail running shoes, regular running shoes, winter boots, Chuck Taylors, Blundstone boots, cycling shoes, climbing approach shoes, and almost everything else. Different models have different thicknesses of padding; this is mostly relevant so you can fit shoes that have different volume levels. Unfortunately, even the thinnest ones have been too thick (in my experience) to fit into standard dress shoes, or into Doc Martens. But I don't know if any footbed would work in those. In my cycling shoes I've had to cut off the front half of the footbed ... but they stay in place and work well enough.I like the Soles because my feet need a decent amount arch support. If your feet don't, you won't like or need these. If you need tons of arch support, the Soles will likely not be enough—in this case you'll be best served by custom orthotics. I haven't found any off-the-shelf footbeds that offer more support than these. The Soles hold up very well. I use them in almost all my shoes. I don't have quite enough to go around, so sometimes I'll pop them out of one pair of shoes and into another. When I get a new pair of Soles, they go into performance shoes (like my running shoes) and the old hand-me-downs from those shoes go to some others where support is less critical. After about 5 or 6 years they're pretty shredded and have earned their retirement.A note on the heat-mouldability: I'm not convinced this accomplishes anything. Maybe if the arch is too high for you, the process will compress. But I'm happy with the arch where it is, so I stopped doing the heat moulding. What makes these footbeds good is their design and materials, not that particular feature.

Great comfort on rough terrain
They take a while to bed in, but I was so thankful of them on my recent trip to Peru to do the BTU Ultra Jungle Marathon ..we crossed more stoney rivers and ran on stoney roads..many people suffered with blisters on the soles of their feet..I was lucky, having these insoles supported my arch and I didn't feel the stones as much as everyone else

Excellent
Excellent insole and provides a solid lining for any shoe. It helped with my back problems as the insole stabilised my gait when I walk. Also the solid plastic back provides good comfort and support of the arches

Best mouldable, footboards.
Great product, got my first Sole foot boards, with a pair of Haglofs, when I replaced the worn out shoes, Haglofs don't use these now, so bought them myself and have never regretted it. I have them in all my shoes now, I know there are cheaper ones out there, but these do work.Only point to raise, even after heating in the oven to mould to your feet, I have always found it still takes a couple days to get them to feel comfortable, but it's worth persevering once fully adapted to your feet, they are extremely comfortable.

As my original pair.
These match my original insoles which are about 8 years old and still going strong. So far these are perfect and as good as the originals. It's very hard to find these and I'm happy to have them. With these I can buy any pair of shoes and make them feel great.
