Pros:- there is a nice array of colors °good selection of blues, purples, greens, pinks, reds, greys and browns,-all the colors are very pigmented and beautiful-there is a balanced quantity of each color-trays are easy to grab and pull out-the pencils are named and numbered-there is a color chart-comes with a nice addition of a mandala coloring book, 2 sharpeners & 2 erasers-really like the box (it's different from the metal ones)-comes with a nice inscription and directions, as well as a contact info cardCons:-the color pencils of the top tray will shift if the mandala book is not put insideThis is not an extension for the xl set, the xl and xxl are completely different. The brand is clearly norberg and linden but the colored pencils come inscribed with the brand Creyart. I also own a creyart set and the colored pencils are the exact same, including number and color name.Thought this was mistake so I contacted the company and they said that everything is correct except the name on the pencils. Apparently there was mixup on the manufacturers part with a batch of the colored pencils. Nowhere on this listing does it say or warn that there is a discrepancy of some sort.-They are very sweet people, responded in a matter of hours. They even offered me a refund but, I will be keeping them as they are really good!P.S. For the few of you receiving the set with creyart inscribed on them, just know that the set is NEW, it comes in plastic wrap, it is just a manufacturer mistake.

Only giving 2 stars because these pencils came with the Creyart brand name/numbering system stamped on them. Not sure what happened but these are not Norberg and Linden pencils, they do not match to their 72 set.

I really wanted to love these pencils, they did layer good ( with lots of effort ) and blending was mediocre at best, but my main complaint is that they break down with water, which means if I want to varnish it or seal it, I can't because it will fade and wash out the color. If you're a beginner this would be good for you, but if you're going to save your picture and seal it, forget about it.UPDATE: I contacted the company about the issue of the pencil breaking dawn with water, and their customer service was great, and they sent me another set, however, they too also have the same issue of breaking dawn with water, so, still, if you want to put a seal or fixative on it, you will mess up your art. So, if you're a beginner and don't want to seal or use fixative for your coloring books or drawings, this is a good pencil, but if you're like me and you are skilled, and want to preserve your work, these are not for you.

These pencils are AWESOME! They blend amazingly and are an affordable alternative to the much higher priced wax pencils like them, that work the same as them, but not any better I promise, at least not for the bargain you are getting with these! The customer service of this company (in particularly, Clark) is unbeatable as well, even when they weren’t the ones to make the mistake, Amazon was, they made it right and responded quickly to messages sent to them! Btw…contrary to many of the other posts, I have both the Norbergs and the Creyart pencils and both are AWESOME, they are the same pencils, colors, numbers, and same exact leads are inside both! There is NOT ANY DIFFERENCE between the 2 brands other than the name printed on them!

I love these pencils, so worth the money, good quality, good solid colors. I was pleased to order the new larger set of 120, as I have the smaller set that I have been using. I have several brands of color pencils, this set is one of my favorites.

I bought these thinking they were the same as the 75 set. These are not the same. I liked the 75 set and thought I was getting more pencils but they have a totally different numbering system and even when the color name matches the colors do not. These are harder pencils than the 75 set and I have to work harder to get the vibrant color. My set doesn't say Creyart on them like other customers have stated. Mine don't have any brand printed on them. I am keeping them as if I don't compare them to the 75 set, they are good pencils and worth what I paid for them but I am disappointed as the 75 set was better quality. If you don't have the 75 set, these are a good starter set if you like harder pencils.

I did not have any smashed box not even a crinkle. The pencils lay down very nicely I will enjoy using my pencils for my upcoming art projects. I know when I get good value for my money & I am very pleased with the outcome. Thank you for putting quality and economy together, esp at these not so easy times.

The pencils are light but, just heavy enough to be comfortable. Colors are exquisite, some of the names are un-interpretive as to colors. EXCELLENT!!!! I have never heard of "Bondi Blue". It will be my pleasure to buy several more sets for myself and friends. I also look forward to using the water color pencils and then the paints.I would have two requests, a larger volume set 180 pencils. I would love to see the names. I am pleasantly surprised of the quality of this budget color pencil set. I recommend this product.
