Does not fit XPS 8930 properly
I am having the same issue as "Kindle Customer". The included fan is not the same one as advertised. It came with a sticker covering a Foxconn logo. The power and control cable does not fit. It is too short and will require an extension. Like the previous review from "Kindle Customer", I would expect to have the same issues with constant high speed spinning fan. Will be returning this one an looking for a new one.

Would not fit
Product says it will fit in my model Dell and it doesn't. Tried every which way to make it fit. It doesn't

Works, but constant and LOUD
This didn't come with the AVC fan shown in the picture. It's a third party Foxconn fan; they just sent mine with a sticker covering the Foxconn logo. That could be why the power cable on it isn't long enough to reach the port on the motherboard. And, the reason why it doesn't speak with the board properly when you plug it in with a needed extension cable (not included). It runs full blast, 100%, constantly, no matter what you're doing on the computer (regardless of the BIOS settings). And because it's a small fan, it sounds like an angry dustbuster.It works to keep the CPU cool, though. I'm not thermal throttling anymore. I'm going to see if I can get a genuine AVC fan on eBay, though. So far, I think the heatsink part works great. I just hope a genuine AVC fan fits it.

I received the unit way before is was scheduled to be delivered.
This unit is for cooling my computer CPU. It works better than I expected.
