The product looks good, and priced very reasonable. It has a more modern look, but fits well with the traditional setting. I have some trouble screwing the parts together. The screws have exactly the same diameter as the holes they are supposed to screwed in. It is hard to fit it in with the cover. I could not see the hole, and has to blindly use the screw to find the hole. I accidentally dropped 2 screws on the soil and could not relocate them. If the screws are tapered on one end, it would be easier to fit in the hole. I sent them an e-mail asking for replacement. They promptly sent the replacement to me. Good customer service.

Teh wall lanterns are spectactular. Arrived as described. I also ordered the matching hanging pendant lantern for the front porch. Do Not Follow the directions on the "If you have a problem" card sent with the lights. The pendant lantern arrived with a 23 1/2" chain and electrical wire plus missing screws. I have not received any responses to the numerous emails concerning the pendant. Just throw the card out and return the item to Amazon if you have any issues.

If you do not see flames in LCD bulb, if you turn them off, or unscrew them, for a second, the flames come up when you do. We are very happy with how this turned out. Item was an excellent price, though quite light weight and the finish easily chipped. That was OK by me because we intended to paint it other than black. We painted it a brushed bronze and it turned out fantastic. We were replacing a porch light we loved because it was difficult to change the bulbs in that one and it was up about 30 feet. This one is open on the bottom and a single bulb, so it will be much easier to change.

My expectations were exceeded. The price was right and the quality better than expected. Furthermore the parts were easy to disassemble, which was important for me since I wanted the light facing down to provide more light on my driveway. This required that I move the socket from the floor of the lantern to the top. The the ground connection came off the socket that came with the lantern, but the socket was easily replaced by a part from my local hardware store. This defect was so minor compared with my overall satisfaction that it does not show up in the star count :)

The price is great! It looks great. I caulked all around the bottom 6 inch metal circle because it will collect water, The metal lip should cover it. The 2 phillips screws used for light bulb removal should not be philips but made for your hand to remove. I can't change them to hand screws because they are to close to the body. The actual socket is oversized and i got a second light bulb thinking there was something wrong with the specialty light bulb i bought. I had to push down very hard to get the Threads to catch. THIS IS A STANDARD socket. i would rather pay more and never have to replace it for reasons of the socket or access screws. I wouldnt have wrote a review at all but the light bulb socket was the last straw.

The lamp itself is nice, although smaller than we thought it would be, but the screws to put it together were missing from the box. I contacted the seller with a diagram of the missing pieces (see attached diagram pic) and they responded promptly saying they would send the screws. All seemed well. My wife and I decided to wait to put it up instead of going to get screws ourselves thinking the ones being shipped would match the color and we wouldn't have to paint them, etc. The screws arrived almost a week later. Although they had the right threads, they were just plain shiny screws and not the ones that went to the lamp originally. We decided to paint them but then we discovered they were actually TOO LONG to fit. We ended up going to Menards and spent $5 to get some screws that worked and were the right length. Perhaps more of the lamps from this seller are missing parts, so just beware you may have to spend a little more to get all the pieces to assemble it.

Simplicity that fits the historically-designated neighborhood. I love how much clean light they give off. I purchased two, so that the front matched the back. I feel comfortable coming home in the evening, as the light reaches the sidewalk. I also enjoy reading out back and the brightness of the bulb I chose allows for an easy read. I love the look and am partial to beveled glass, a small detail that most won't notice. The simple, clean lines are soothing and elegant. I'll never admit to how little I paid for them!!
