Pleasantly surprised...
I have to say I was not looking forward to this book. Not one bit. I liked Rider/Cain for the most part in It Ain't Me, Babe. But then in Heart Recaptured, I actually started to hate him. I couldn't imagine how I could possibly get through a book about him. And then in Souls Unfractured, I found myself softening a little towards him, but still skeptical.Tillie Cole made me fall back in love with Rider/Cain. I'm not sure when it happened, but I cried for him in a couple of spots. He was just as much a victim of the cult as Mae, Lilah, and Maddie. And for the first time, I found myself angry with Styx and Ky. I mean I get that he wronged them. I was mad too. Without spoiling anything, listening to "her" speech trying to save Rider, I couldn't understand how those two couldn't find a small piece of forgiveness. I'm hoping in future books something changes with them.Smiler made me smile. He was really hurt by Rider. He showed forgiveness. There were several twists I didn't see coming that literally had mouth jaw on the floor. Such an amazing book!

Cain & Bella Are The Soul of This Series!
Let me start by saying that I FREAKING LOVE FLAME & MADDIE! Their story is something that breaks you apart and puts you back together again piece by of piece, never to be the same again afterwards.Cain and Bella had a different level of suffering to overcome. Cain as someone who only knew loneliness and solitude in his life, someone who could only rely on himself and never trust the person next to him. Bella as the protector, the soldier always ready for the next war to fight, having always to be on guard for what would happen next. How many of us have known loneliness in our lives? How many of us have felt that we needed to protect those we love, even if it meant our lives? Yes, that is why Cain and Bella's story called to me on a primal level. While I have never belonged to a cult, I have been to war, I have needed to protect those that I loved more fiercely than most people do in their lives and I have lived a time of my life where loneliness consumed me on levels most people never know, and I thank God I am finally past that place because it is a horrible place to live in your own mind and soul. While I read, no devoured, Deep Redemption I watched Cain live this loneliness and I knew his pain.Tillie Cole has a shining star within her that is bursting free as she continues to out due herself with each Hades Hangmen book she releases!Do Not Miss This Series! It's the BEST DARK SERIES I have read since Tears of Tess (Monsters In The Dark Series) by Pepper Winters.

THIS BOOK WAS FRUSTRATING AND DISAPPOINTING
First of all I LOVE the Hades Hangmen series!!!! but, I knew going in this book was going to be difficult for me. In the end, I was NOT happy with Cain/RIder and "Harmony" as a couple. She deserved much better! I LOVE her, she is wonderful and strong and loving and brave and the reunion we got in this book was amazing. I still have no use for Cain/Rider.**** SPOILERS BELOW....**** SPOILERS BELOW...**** SPOILERS BELOW...Ok, in my opinion, Rider's redemption should have come with his death. He could have sacrificed himself saving Bella and the innocents.Bella has had to be sooooo strong and brave and she needs someone she can lean on too, someone strong who will be there for her and support her and be strong for her too. That is NOT Rider/Cain. She had to take care of him all the way through this book. Bella should be with someone like Viking! He would give her his strength and protection and fill her life with laughter. she could use that. I love her reunion with her sisters! That was amazing. Their Love and connection and bond in so strong and wonderful.I was very disappointed and frustrated that there were no chapters from Ky and Lilah's POV, there was so much going on with them! This book would have been better as a compilation...the demise of the cult, the reunion of the sisters, Ky and Lilah's life changes, Riders fate.; with multiple POV's .Anyway, still not a Rider fan , I cannot forget that Cain/Rider GAVE LILAH TO MICHAH. Micah asked for her and Cain gave her to him to be raped!!! That was not Judah or part of the punishments Judah handed out, that was Cain/Rider. I LOVE Bella and I will definitely be reading the other books I have loved them all except this one.

Too Much Detail
I thought the book a bit of a slow story.I think I might be getting tired of all the over detailing of sexual perversion this book revealed.I was taken to Jonestown with the cult activity and that wasn't very pleasing either.I did like that Cain became aware of what the cult was and tries to make amends for what goes on and the harm he caused directly and indirectly. In the real world ignorance to the law, and right and wrong would not be a reason to be exonerated from it.I am glad Bella finds a better place and she can have a better future.I think each book so far has had a lot of similar things going on,and of course with an on going story line you will have that, but the amount of detail to some things is getting old and so are some of the other similarities.Be ready to feel shock and anger more than you feel love and happiniess for the characters.

really good addition to the series
Woah this one was one roller coaster of a read and all I can say is poor poor Rider he was really put through the mill here.Got to admit I was slightly sceptical concerning Rider’s redemption especially after all the stuff he’s pulled in the past I wondered how the author was going to manage to portray him sympathetically, but boy she managed it and I found myself totally heartbroken and empathetic over all he was made to suffer. There was such a lot of hate for Rider from both the order and the hangmen and he just couldn’t seem to catch a break and even thought he was deserving of all he was suffering because of his previous actions. His only light in the darkness of his reality was Harmony and the connection that was building between them and to save her he was willing to sacrifice everything including his own life. But really was his situation that different to Mae, Maddie and Lilah he’s also been brainwashed.Yes his upbringing was gentler raised In the pasture with his brother but this separation has just contributed to his total naivety giving him a skewed outlook about what the order is all about, he’s been totally brainwashed and indoctrinated into all that his people stand for and yes the initial power went to his head but he now seeing the error of his ways and is horrified and disgusted by his recent discoveries and the actions of his brother and even himself. His blinkers have been forcibly removed and he is gutted that he was unknowingly a part of it all especially now he knows just what the all actually is.He wishes he could turn back time and just have a do-over his faith and self-worth is destroyed. He is neither Cain nor Ryder in fact he has no idea anymore just who he is the only fact he is totally convinced of is his need to save Harmony stop his brother and then atone for his past deeds.Rider is like an Island alone and hurting, he has only known the love of his twin brother and now he has turned on him and betrayed there bond he feels truly isolated with no-one to turn to.He is beaten daily and is broken down in both body and spirit losing all of his hope until her.Harmony is another daughter of Eve cursed and here to fulfil the prophecy and marry Judah who is masquerading as Cain. Her presence gives Rider new strength and a purpose and he will walk willingly into the gates of hell for her.Harmony was fantastic so strong she has endured a lot and still hasn’t lost that spark and drive to survive. She is instantly drawn to the beaten man in the cell next to her own despite not knowing who he really is and when she does discover the full truth she is an absolute rock and so protective. She is just what Rider needs to realise that his previous infatuation with Mae was just that the first female to show him some care and attention. The strength of his feelings for Harmony prove that there is just no comparison for him.So we really do see a different side of Rider here one that has to endure and he was put through so much both physically and mentally that there was no way you couldn’t feel for him. This was bloody brutal and Rider sure atones here over and over again it was relentless for him and I just wanted to scream enough leave him be he’s seen the error of his ways.So there were also quite a few shocking reveals here and they did seem a little far-fetched one of these reveals I could maybe accept but there were three and I think it maybe this was a little too much and did stretch the boundaries of believability. Still, it gave this some added drama and it is fiction after all.I do think the books are definitely getting better the further I progress, I have enjoyed all of them but this and the previous one were poles apart. This was again a dark read and has a lot of triggers especially regarding the past child stuff please do know your limits this story deals with some really messed up stuff and doesn’t hold back, you will also need to read this series in order as though each book focuses on a different couple there’s an ongoing story arc throughout. But yeh this one was a really good addition to the series I’m glad I carried on with this series as I was slightly on the fence initially but took a chance.

Liked it, loved Rider but something was missing
3.75 StarsI was a bit disappointed with this one. There was a bit too much going on and at times, it was all very much like a soap opera episode. We just needed some amnesia added to the mix and bam.. recipe complete. The whole absurdity of coincidences and over the top plot took away from what should have been the the focus of the book. I feel like a book about redemption needs a more character driven plot. We got plenty of insight intro Rider’s head but it wasn’t enough. The relationship between Rider and Harmony was just not developed enough. We sort of got told that they grew close while holding hands and talking to each other in captivity. It wasn’t anywhere near enough to built a credible love connection. I guess we can talk about affection due to mutual understanding but absolute love? Nope.I was also disappointed that we didn’t get more development for Harmony’s character. Out of all the girls so far she had the most potential and it was just left there.. in the wind. One thing I will praise is the way Tillie makes her male characters vulnerable. I love that they cry and scream their emotions. They confess their weaknesses, doubts, guilt and pain. She humanises them so much. Alpha behaviour does not exclude having a wide emotional range. Tillie creates characters that are the furthest things from stereotypes.Although I haven’t loved this book as much as the others, I still appreciate Rider’s character and his journey that we got to see from book one. I understood his spiritual battles, his crumbling beliefs and in the end I couldn’t blame him for the past anymore. I just wish his story was better because his character was so unique. His journey to selfhood, so complicated and conflicted. So yes, once again he deserved a better individual story but also a better love story.

5 stars
I can not get enough of this series, again Tillie Coles writing is so emotional and amazing as she touches such heart wrenching topics. The series is just getting better filled with action and tension.I have been waiting for Riders book since book 1 and with all the awful decisions he made (which I was gutted about) which made me have this love/hate feeling for this character while reading so I had to see were his book took us, and I was NOT disappointed. We get to see a new side of Rider on his journey of becoming him own and dealing with guilt.Harmony is a beautiful brave character, she has been brought to new Zion and labelled a cursed sister of eve. Harmony is due to wed the prophet even though Harmony does not want this to happen she wants to keep her duty to save the people of new Zion. She is strong and determined. ..Eyes are opened and secrets are out. And oh boy there are many. .

Best in series so far for me.
This is the best in the series so far for me.I was gutted when Rider turned out to be who he was and what he did. Trying not to give spoilers here!I knew he had so much to redeem himself for and I wanted that so much for him, I’ve gone through the emotions with him over the last 3 books from loved to pity to absolutely hating him, to heartbreaking. So much I want to say without spoiling it for anyone so it’s going to be short…..I just knew from book one Harmony wouldn’t be gone. I could have cried with that revelation.Rider completely redeemed himself for me in this. This had so many heartbreaking moments it was soul destroying at times. So friggin good and I’m so glad Tillie decided to do their story. Everyone was like Flames was the best, but no! for me this was so much more.

Another good read for this series.
Ok where to start... so after reading and loving Flames story recently I was looking forward to getting into this book and I can say it wasn't my favourite of this series but I did still enjoy it.Based alot more around the cult side of things and learning more about Cain/Rider its difficult reading at some spots but it is all needed to set the scene as it were.So when Rider 'meets' Harmony after days of being kept away from others and daily torture he can't believe just how arlt peace she makes him feel leaving him determined to make things change.Full of sneaky little twists and turns leaving us speedily flipping those pages and leaving us really wanting to get into the next book this leaves us with a Hangmen Hangover!
