A grizzly brand vise for this price seems very reasonable. And though it hasn't arrived yet, you can trust me saying that if you are looking at vises in this price range you should probably quit browsing and just get this one. It's probably perfect for your needs, unless you are like a serious vise user, then maybe it's not. I wouldn't know. Maybe you should spend more. But if you want a recognizable brand for not much money this is the way to go. I get burned every time I get something I've never heard of. I clicked the purchase button, and i haven't yet been let down. Vise is en route. I'm preemptively satisfied. Thanks for making a cheap one, Grizzly!

perfect weight for my needs and size. well constructed now ill just have to put it through its paces for at least a year before i can actually leave a definitive review. so far though out of box not as oiled or smooth as i would've hoped. it will need extra maintenance on my part to run as smoothly and evenly as it should. its a bit cranky (pun intended)

Mounted this to my reloading bench and works great for holding my AR while working on it. Solid quality and i like the anvil.

Nice little vice. Perfect for smaller jobs. Bolted on my bench and very sturdy. Finish and adjustment is very good. Update- still love this little guy. I have beat on it, cranked it down hard and really holds up with zero issues or even marks!

The anvil is large enough to be of use for my mid-to-lightweight needs, and the double lock-down was certainly a surprise. I'm going to mount this on a nice 2 X 6 that I can c-clamp to whatever's handy.

This vise is all you need and at a price no one can compare too. It Is built with tough thick heavy steel parts not cheap metal. The jaws Open to about 4" and is great for a work bench and shop. I use it almost every day for many different projects . I've put a lot of torque on several items and its held them rock solid. I use it for working my gun parts too, never an issue. This was the best deal I found for this size vise on the net. Thank you for such a superb product at the best price.

Is it top quality? No, but it is good quality for the price.
