Vegetarian Brats
Big Frank’s are a meatier vegetarian meat. The texture is more like a sausage or brats.

Taste better than expected.
I ordered 1 can just to see how they were. Upon opening the can, I could smell the pleasant aroma of vegetable soup and tasted the same just a bit salty; color was normal. The hot dogs are not beef but taste very good. I loaded it up with chili dog condiments and was very satisfied. I am going to order more.

THEY GROW ON YOU
Do they taste like meat?nope...no way. I suppose you COULD say they taste and have the texture of a giant Vienna sausage. But of all things...they have their own flavor and it is good.

bad doggie
these are by far the most disgusting veggie dog I've had, the can full of wieners in water have a smell that won't inspire hunger or satisfaction, don't get me wrong I eat vegan hot dogs....but not this kind. These did inspire me to read ingredients which in turn has me looking at other proteins, red dye is not my thing....ya it's a banned ingredient that's allowed for a couple more years even though known cancer risk, and to top it off there were some dark strange looking dogs in the can and when I reached out to the seller regarding bad spoiled product they could care less...my recommendation,,,don't buy these, yuk

One of the better vegetarian sausages around!
I grew up on a vegetarian diet, even though I am not vegetarian now, I still like to eat these plant based franks along with there other sausage products. Loma Linda has been around for years and I consider them the OG of fake meats along with their Aussie sister company Sanitarium Health Foods (yes I know they have different corporate owners now but they came from the same parent company and were both owned by the SDA church). I don't care about there religious background, what I do care about are healthier alternatives to just eating meat and something that is compatible with a low carb diet as many plant alternatives are carbohydrate laden. These ones fit the bill and happy to go back to a product that I grew up with but also trust.
