UPDATE: I received the new pair of boots I ordered. They were not covered in any white film, I received the correct size and everything was great! Perfect, beautiful boots they are adorable and I can’t wait for my daughter to wear them!5 stars for the look and quality of the boots, 2 stars for receiving wrong sizes and white film on boots. First I’m disappointed because I received one size 11 boot and one size 9 boot in the box. I know mistakes happen, and I’ve never had an issue ordering shoes from amazon so I’m not trying to be extremely harsh or anything. So I have to return them regardless of how they look or how much I love them. I reordered the boots already. I would say they are actually on the smaller side. I have them in the adult version and they run large but the toddler version seems to run smaller. There was a white film covering the boots which I read can be caused by heat and is totally normal for rubber boots. Anyone else having this issue I read you clean the boot with water, and then rub a small amount of olive oil onto the boot and the white film should go away, so don’t use household cleaner. I’m not willing to try this on boots I’m about to return, but if the new pair has the white film (and hopefully they’re the correct size boots in the box and not two different sizes), I will definitely try the olive oil. The boots are adorable and I love joules, they’re very good quality boots. I hope the next order which will be coming in a couple of days is correct and has two of the same size boots :)

Schöne Gummistiefel für meine kleine , aber die Schleife sieht ganz und gar nicht so aus wie auf dem Bild ... total unschön. Ich glaube auch das die schon ewig in diesem Karton auf einen Käufer gewartet haben, da die Stiefel weiß angelaufen waren. (Weichmacher) Lässt sich aber reinigen.

Ordered fire pair covered in a chalk mould which Mould should clean off before sending to a customer sent them back ordered a second pair just the same then had to buy hunter Welly cleaner to clean them which took up to a hour soooooo soooooo poor !

Wish I'd read the comments first. Ordered as a birthday present, they were delivered with white chalky marks all over them. Tried to clean but took ages to do one and left a poor finish. Returned for replacement (making them late) and the second pair are even worse. Poor Amazon customer service, have complained directly to Joules who aren't interested. Best Amazon can do is another replacement. 3rd time lucky!
