These literally say "not for retail sale” on the box. where are these coming from? are they leftovers from a clinic?

Being it’s a brand new box of two separate film style containers it’s so someone doesn’t re sell one of two I’m assuming this. I use this item and don’t feel it’s a leftover

Will it work with true metrix preferred plus. if it does not. can it be returned if opened?

If the monitor is a TrueMetrix rebranded device they should work with it. If it is a "preferred plus" only, I would not risk it.

I learned long ago in my medical career, there is no such thing as a dumb question! 👍🏼😊 Since I have the True Metrix from Walgreens, these strips work great, I'd compare the CVS strips on Amazon and see if the look the same, or contact the manufacturer!! Good luck!!! 👍🏼😊💐
