Kit built nice. There are some fiddly bits (cockpit, landing gear), but worth the effort. Quite a bit of nice detail for a 1/72 fighter kit. Decals were a treat to use (as it tends to be with Airfix kits).

These new molds are fantastic.First off I'm glad we're back to the action-packed painted covers, they are really inspirational. this is what got our imaginations fired up as kids.My 14-year old son gave this kit to me fore Christmas. I have been building models since I was his age and I have to say in the past 10 years I pretty much exclusively build Airfix kits. They are a great combination of easy-to-understand instructions, solid, easily bondable plastic, and fantastic detail. The models are made in such a way that it can be as simple or complicated, quick or detailed a build as you want. That said, there is a great amount of detail for a "level 1" kit. all the panel and part etchings are very detailed. An example of the customizability, the radiator unit has not only the cover, but the interior elements as well. this offers the opportunity to detail as much or as little as you'd like. very detailed and faithful cockpit and exterior. intricate but not difficult to build--a good balance of challenge and fun.Also the plastic takes the paint well. I often forget to prime parts, and it is not a problem.

I have built many of these airfix kits. I think this kit is by far one of the best. It is an excellent value for the price. For the price, it is better than most tamiya and Hasegawa kits of the Hurricane.

Although the model arrived in good time, it was mailed in a manila bubble pack, and the item was crushed. I immediately checked the contents of the Airfix box, and, they seem to be intact. Therefore four stars.

Well worth price

The kit went together nicely, but when I opened the sealed bag containing the clear sprue, it was missing the cockpit canopy. A pity, since the rest of the kit is light years ahead of the older 1/72 kits from the 1970s and 1980s. Still sitting on my desk until I work up the enthusiasm to scratch build the sliding portion of the canopy.

It's a great model, pieces fit nicely but it's a little too small for my big fingers. Would go with a bigger scale next time.

Il modello fa parte dei nuovi stampi della casa inglese..montaggio buono ma non semplicissimo la parte di accoppiamento cokpit e fusoliera non è intuitivo e occorre un po' di attenzione..per il resto tutto ok .

Versand-Verpackung völlig ungeeignet, Produkt aber großartig!Das Modell ist sehr detailliert und stellt die Hurricane perfekt dar. Leider ist der Karton durch eine unzureichende Versandverpackung stark beschädigt.
