Absolutely Ridiculous
This is absolutely Ridiculous. Anyone that has any idea of how an EMP works knows this is a scam. You CANNOT protect all the microchips and ECU by plugging in some bogus device. An EMP hits all chips and circuits at the same time if they are not fully sealed, with the right materials, and it fries all circuitry in one go. It does not flow through in directional way, where you can bypass it...I can't believe people are falling for this...

Is this supposed to be a novelty gift?
An electrical shunt device won't protect you from one of those. If you're doing the bug out/prepper thing, you're better off with just buying a pre 1980's car/truck, dirt bike/atv, or even a baja bug. Or, have a garage built like a faraday cage.
