Sweet devotional. Calming

I got this product for my boyfriend’s twelve year old daughter. She really loved the llama. She also liked that the devotions were short and complete. I liked how the devotions were Biblically sound, but applicable for a young pre-teen.

I was happy with the cover of the book. Nicely done.

Adorable book for gifting a girl!

I bought this for my pre-teen daughter hoping to help get out in front of many of the lies she will face in the next few years especially.. The thoughts and ideas in this devotional are generally beneficial, however, there are inaccuracies from the author that I think do more harm than benefit girls and young women who need THE TRUTH. Within the first devotional, the author states that Psalm 139 was written by a woman. While I think the author is trying to connect these girls with Scripture and Truth to help them understand their God-given dignity, it starts with a lie, or wild inaccuracy. Altering God’s Word to connect with or speak to your audience is errant, period. We will be finding a new devotional to work through.

This is a wonderfully, quality made book with heart-warming, inspirational messages to uplift any young girl. I purchased two for each of my 'tween' granddaughters & happy I did. Definitely recommend.
