Get what you pay for
You definitely get what you park for but it looks so cute for my desk, I really recommend. The plastic around it is definitely cheap but besides that everything feels durable!

Definitely looks like a toy.
I think it has a little too much air in it. There is no way to get the air out. But it's for my grandson so I'm sure it'll be fine for him.

Excellent
I quit smoking and I've bought many fidget items. This is the winner! I can't put it down.Well made, great price and would make a great gift.

Beautiful except the plastic frame
I just wish the frame were not plastic because it takes away from the gorgeous aesthetic of the sand. However, my autistic son loves it anyway! It really is just a nice, creative addition to your tchotchkes or desk or whatever. I removed one star just for the plastic.

Beautiful broken
I love it. My coworkers love it! It stopped moving a week in. I’m sad. Although it is beautiful when I can move.

Nice little desk bauble
Always wanted one of these since I was a kid. This one isn't fancy and frankly the plastic frame looks plasticky, but overall it's been something nice to have on my desk. The bubbles are necessary to hold up the sand so air bubbles aren't a bad thing. I've only enjoyed it for a couple of weeks and I'm sure that the air gap will increase over time. The clear center part is made from glass.I think it's a good value.

Whole family likes it!
I had one of these as a kid and loved it, but could not find an affordable one for my own kids until now. I got one of these for each son (one high school age, one college age), and they are both fascinated. My husband and I have also spent a good bit of time playing with them. The water and bubbles make it even better than the air-filled one I had years ago - you can flip it, set it down, and the bubbles will ensure a different pattern every time. Set it down on the long edge for faster flow (because the bubbles don't fill the whole edge), or on the short edge for slow flow (the bubbles block almost all the sand and only a tiny bit flows at a time, like an hourglass). To make more smaller bubbles, shake it a bit. Left alone overnight, the bubbles tend to go back to a few larger ones. Watching the bubbles escape one by one to higher levels and guessing which part of the sand will break through the bubble wall next is part of the fun!

Sand moves very quickly through the picture/frame
I wish the liquid was thicker to make the sand move just a bit more slowly for a more calming effect. And ... it'd be nice if it had glow in the dark sand too ;-).
