I've had the chance to use this product for almost a week now. First of all I was impressed with the quality of the product, non-GMO, no fillers or binders, and an actual glass bottle. A month ago I purchased another good brand for Ashwaghandha, one capsule/ 600 mg, and it's pretty comparable with this brand. True Veda provides 60 capusules/ 300 mg/ one so it's on expensive side a little bit. The results of this brand has been as expected as well, I get my nice nighttime sleep, and wake up relaxed and not feeling tired. I do not have any anxiety issues, so I purchased the product mainly for the health benefits that it brings and for a good and restful nighttime sleep. I recommend that you do your own research and see what your budget can fit but this specific brand provides an excellent quality organic ashwagandha (and I truly like the fact that they use a glass bottle vs the plastic ones that are so common). I would purchase again for sure! Update - over a month later Very happy with the product. It still gives me a nice rest at night - waking up fresh and rested. I haven't noticed other benefits so far, but I'm sure it helps with the overall immune system as well. The ingredients are certified organic, and no fillers or other binders. One capsule does contain only 300 mg/ compared to other brands with 600 mg/ capsule, but one is still enough. When I choose to sleep in (usually during weekends) I sometimes take two capsules and I can sleep in longer, and it feels really good. I don't take it every night - depending on my daily activities and level of stress. I don't depend on them to get my every night sleep, so they are not "addictive" or your body doesn't "feel" you need to take them every night. Highly recommend this product, especially if you are planning to use it for the same purpose as mine.

Okay guys, I promise this isn't a fake review at all neither am I getting paid to write it. I never have written a comment on any product before but this one right here is the one to write a comment about. Okay, so I ordered this item on like a Thursday and received it on Saturday so that was a fast 2 day shipping period which was amazing. I have always had anxiety but it was never an issue until recently that I started experiencing increased amounts of anxiety especially when driving. I experienced a panic attack which was my first one EVER!! I honestly took this once I received it, one pill first and really felt the calmness in me. No more racing heartbeat, trembling hands/feet or feeling like I am fainting. NO more PANIC ATTACKS! I mean I am a nurse and also a student and a mother of a newborn, I have stress and I sense stressful situations still but I do not go into panic mode at all! I have only been on this for 3 days and I feel a whole lot less anxious and able to carry out my activities without having to need to puke or feel like I am about to die of a heart attack or something! I love it and I will keep taking it as I have, one in the morning and one in the evening as well as taking it with food as I feel like it does kind of make my stomach upset without food. I truly recommend it and have recommended it to my fellow nursing peers who are also going back to school and under stress! Guys try this!!! I do not take any medications and with this I don't see why people would take prescribed antidepressants! Just give it a shot, it will make you feel like you are living again not just alive!!

EDIT: Updated from 2 stars to 4 for excellent customer service, but I describe my negative experience with this product below. Despite this product not working for me, I am very pleased with the True Veda brand. For those who benefit from taking ashwagandha, I highly recommend this seller as you can't beat the quality of product and customer service. I had such high hopes for this product after reading several positive reviews for ashwagandha, particularly for the management of anxiety. I figured if it didn't live up to the mood-boosting claims, I would at least continue taking it for other health benefits. I gave this two stars because the product itself was quality, arrived on time, and was packaged nicely. I have no doubt it may work for some people. However, the effects it had on my mood were so bad that I couldn't finish the bottle. For me, it almost immediately put me in a brain fog. I don't think I had ever experienced depression before taking this supplement. I didn't want it to be true, so I experimented with on/off days and even tried taking it for several days in a row despite my mood to see if I just needed to work through an adjustment period. I was hoping I could attribute my dramatic mood change to something other than this supplement. But each day that I took this product I found myself feeling nearly sedated--lethargic, apathetic, emotionless. It ended up stressing me out even more because I felt so out of control with the depressive symptoms. Within a day of staying off it, my mood was completely back to normal. I'll be sticking with diet/nutrition for stress management and staying far away from ashwagandha.

I have a friend who is a mental health nurse. I was talking with her about my struggles with depression and anxiety. I do take a medication for depression, and occasionally xanax for anxiety. I try not to take that too often though, for obvious reasons. She suggested I look into ashwagandha. She explained that they see a lot of benefits from it, much improvement on depression and anxiety from it. So I read a bit and thought it looked like it might be worth a try. I am not a huge believe of naturopathic remedies. I am also not a huge advocate of chemicals and medications. You could put me right in the middle. As in, I think there are benefits and needs for both. So for sure, I was willing to try this in addition to my regular medication. When I was looking on Amazon, this brand (True Veda) seemed to have the highest number of 5 star reviews, and also the least amount of extra fillers, ingredients. I was looking for something vegan and organic. They also mention on their website doing multiple quality tests during the product on the supplement. So I chose to try this one. I had read it can take up to 6 weeks to see a marked improvement. So I was surprised after a few days on it, I realized I had not had any tension in my jaw in the afternoons. I have TMJ and stress, etc. cause tightness and clenching in the late afternoons. I realized I had no had any in a couple days. I thought it was a fluke, maybe like a placebo type thing, but I wasn't looking for improvement there.. so I was hopeful that this was some of the inflammation improvement they mention. After more than a week of taking this twice a day (with breakfast and afternoon snack or dinner), I'm happy to say I've seen much improvement in many different areas. Not only a continued improvement on the jaw pain, but also anxiety in many areas that cause me anxieties such as a birthday party at a bounce place I had to take my kids (ugh! I hate though, but it didn't kill my mood and make me super anxious like normal). My sis in law changed up our fathers days plans yesterday (we were hosting, she decided she wanted to come over 3 hours earlier, only gave us an hours notice). I can tell you and my husband can tell you that this is the type of thing that would have ruined my day and had me screaming at everyone but I really had no issues with it. He even told me later that he was expecting me to implode about it and was surprised that I was like "sure, let's get it done". Now, these could all be just a fluke. But I'm certainly intrigued enough to continue taking, and doing more research. My daughter has TMJ as well, and now I'm researching possibly having her take it to help. So I'll update my review after another few weeks on it. I have not been paid or received free product at all. I chose this brand based on the average star reviews and the quantity of the reviews, as well as the organic certification and lack of fillers. I bought this product with no prodding. It's definitely worth a look! Don't forget to research side effects with drugs and medications you are already on.

Of course, unless you have extensive knowledge or are in very good health and on no medication, it is always best to discuss why you want to start taking Ashwagandha. Ashwagandha Root Extract KSM-66 - Standardized - 5% Withanolides is the optimal form of Ashwagandha and has been there are many studies that demonstrate their health benefits. There are also other benefits that have not been as exclusively studied. but I would expect may also provide health benefits. True Veda is a very reputable well known company so assuming that all the claims by them are accurate and everything listed on the product label is accurate, then this is an outstanding form of Ashwagandha. It’s 3rd party tested too. I personally like the 400mg serving size in 1 capsule. This makes it very easy for someone to take a start at a moderate dose without taking too much. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to take a top quality Ashwagandha supplement.

I’ve been using this for a few weeks now, I started with one cap daily for about a week and didn’t see any results. I have been on one cap twice daily now for about a week and I may be seeing an improvement in my sleep. I tend to have issues with tossing and turning and waking and thinking about things half the night and I am sleeping more sound the past few nights! We shall see how it goes but I’m cautiously optimistic right now!
