Does dirt and dust stick to this oil?

I am not in the desert anymore, but I would say less than CLP. It stays wet though, like a lot of moisture. I always used CLP until recently. The lubrcity is insane and the same gun you ran CLP will be much smoother now.

could i use this for lubing pellets??

Sure. Not for sure why but put some on a q-tip and put on pellet. Pellets for a rifle pellet gun or pellets for a rabbit??

Would FP-10 work on/be effective for knives/flippers?

Any kind of oil based lubricant would help a folding blade. There are ingredients, in FP10, specifically geared to combustion weapons that will not add anything to your application. You might want to visit the Benchmade Knife website to see what they offer that is specific to knives. If you already have FP10 laying around ......... the label says it won't harm most wood or plastics. So. try it in an inconspicuous place first?
