Smells just like cat
This stuff smells like a nice, clean, healthy cat: kind of bready, maybe a little dust, and warm. If you like cat smell this is the genuine article. Aside from that, the cats seem to tolerate vet visits a little more with this. Does not help as much with dementia if you have one that gets a little lost and howls for you but she seems a little calmer. It’s a better value than the plugin if you just need some here and there for otherwise content animals. Really well-built sprayer and cap, sprays a fine mist for even coating. If your cats respond to Feliway at the vet, it’s worth a shot for stressful situations.

This product makes it easy to travel with our beloved furry friends.
We have used Feliway spray when traveling by car for 3 cats on a 2,000 mile trip and back again. If it is sprayed liberally (more than the directions state) in the carrier and on the bedding and given time to dry, even the most vocal of cats will be relaxed and calm. The first time we used it, one of our cats took about 40 minutes to calm down as he "talks" the most, but the other 2 cats didn't make a sound from the very beginning. However, I found if I spray a little extra in his carrier and wait about 20 minutes and give it another light spray, allow to dry and put him in, he too becomes calm and quiet. All 3 cats remained calm and quiet for 10-12 hours at a time in the car. When traveling, we feed them wet food early in the evening on arrival to the hotel. When they've finished the wet food, we leave only dry food and water through the night. We take the dry food and water up in the morning and spray the carriers at that time so they have time to dry. We give the cats a final chance to use the liter box if needed, while we have breakfast. When we return from breakfast, we put them in the carrier (which has already been sprayed with Feliway and allowed to dry) and load them in the car. They do not eat or use the liter box while traveling in the car and remain in their carriers the entire time. They have no issues and as mentioned, remain calm and quiet for 10 or more hours while we are driving. I do use the Feliway diffuser when in hotel rooms. And because it takes a while for the diffuser to work, the cats are not as calm in strange hotel rooms. Without the spray product, travel with our beloved furry friends would be much more difficult, if not impossible.

Works good but smelks
It seems to help my cat from stressing. It leaks at the top and it has a strong smell. It smells for a long time. I would of gave 5 stars if it wasn't for the smell. It's expensive for the amount and the fact that it does leak.

Spray an area to test before spraying your cats bedding.
This was recommended by my vet, to calm my pet, I sprayed it on my cats bedding, hoping that it would calm her down. She took one sniff and has not gotten back on her bed. I sprayed it on several places that she slept, and she has not returned to those places to sleep Since. It is a deterrent for sure and works well in that regard. I didn’t realize that this was a deterrent. I thought it was to calm. I’m sad now that I sprayed it on her bedding because she won’t return to it.

Works well to reduce kitty stress.
We started using this feline calming hormone when we moved, and it's become a staple anytime there's a stressful situation or behavioral issue. It really helps keep the peace between our cats, and I highly recommend getting the multi-cat version if you have more than one pet.The only downside is that there's no clear indicator for when the diffuser runs out. Once it's empty, the diffuser can start to smell bad, and the cats' behavior shifts noticeably. We accidentally left one plugged in after it ran out, and it started giving off a weird odor—we ended up having to toss that unit. Just be sure to keep an eye on the liquid level!Overall, a great product that works well when used properly.

⚠️Caused Severe Allergic Reaction in HUMAN⚠️
As recommended by my veterinarian, I purchased the Feliway for my cat to calm him during an 18 hour car ride. I sprayed one spray into his carrier 1 hour prior to leaving on our trip. The instructions read that it wears off in 5 hours. We began our trip without incident. We were about 12 hours into our trip when it was my turn to get our cat out of his carrier and offer him food, water and his litter box. I had him out for about 15 minutes holding and petting him. I felt a little weird but just thought I was tired from the drive. I put him back into his carrier and we got back on the road. Thankfully, I was not driving at the time. Ten minutes later my tongue and lips began to tingle and swell, my throat felt as if it were narrowing, I began to cough like I had just inhaled some hay particles and was randomly nodding off. If it would have gotten any worse I would have had to find the nearest ER. These symptoms ever so slowly subsided but in all, lasted 8 hours! The description, packaging, insert and bottle all read that the product does not effect humans. I am 100 percent sure this is what caused my reaction as I am 34 years old with no record of allergies and I couldn't pet my cat for a week without having a reaction, more mild than the first exposure. He was given a thorough bath and his carrier scrubbed. I haven't had an issue since.

Worked Wonders for Traveling
This spray has worked wonders on multiple occasions for traveling with my cat. I spray it in her carrier before she gets in it and a little in the car as well. The difference with using this product versus not is night and day. I’d highly recommend Feliway for cats with travel anxiety.
