DekCellGrounded Europe Adapter - CE Certified - USA to Europe - Heavy Duty Adapter

I bought two of these as specifically recommended by a tour group operator for a trip from the US to Iceland. They worked perfectly and are very durably made. Highly recommend.

Caution: Be sure your appliance is dual voltage before plugging it in with the adapter. These adapters just change the plug configuration, they do not adjust voltage or frequency. Also, read the produce description to determine what European countries this can be used in (not all use the EU-standard 2 round prongs).These are the best adapters I have found (and I've tried several different ones). I use them daily in Germany for lamps, computers, iphone/ipad, small appliances, television, etc. and have no complaints. They are heavy-duty, sturdy, and don't feel like they will fall apart when you insert and remove them from the outlet. They are easy to grasp and fit snug in the wall outlets. The adapter is flat-topped, which allows you to plug in items with a large head (cell phone charger, computer, etc.). It has 2 round prongs to plug into the wall, and can be used for grounded (3-prong) or non-grounded (2 prong) US (dual voltage) appliances.Bottom line: If you need adapters for the EU-Standard two plug configuration, then these are worth the price.

There isn't much to say about a product like this. I bought it, it came, I plugged my Mac's power cord into it, I put it into the German socket, and I haven't had a problem with it in the three months I've been using it.I do prefer it aesthetically and functionally to the more complex adapters with all the different options and locking mechanisms. This one is very simple and straightforward. I've only been using it with my laptop, and I haven't been plugging and unplugging it a lot. It just... works. It's fine.

I was in France for three months and I needed this convertor. I can't say that I know a lot about converters, but this worked perfectly. I never had problems nor did I need more than just one. I was very please with this. I'm sure that not much could go wrong, but I'm used to electronics not doing what they're supposed to do. I was very happy that I never experienced any problems with this.

I couldn't beat the price for these adapters. I ordered 2. Once they arrived, the quality of the construction seemed to be pretty decent. I left the next day on a business trip to Spain. Unfortunately when I went to use them, one didn't work, there was no through power on the defective one. Once I posted my initial seller feedback, the company contacted me immediately offering to replace the adapter at no charge. I certainly appreciated the offer, but it wasn't going to do me much good now...maybe for the next trip. These are a great buy at this price, but just be careful to test them with a continuity meter or something before you travel with them just in case you have an experience like mine.

Are you going to Europe with US electronics? This is your converter. I bought two, and they worked great - for both laptops and less powerful appliances.Somehow I managed to leave both plugged in hotel rooms (at different times, too). So next time I might stick some sort of tacky sticker on them as a visual clue that they are mine.

I bought two of these for my trip to western Europe, including Germany, Netherlands and Belgium. They are sturdy but light weight. It can fit into all the outlet I encountered with no problem. (If you don't know that yet, the outlet in those countries are usually in a hole into the wall, and this adapter fit in there very well with good support.) It would be handy to have two when you travel with laptop, camera, cellphone and need to charge them at the same time, and put them separately so that you still have one if you lost one of them during your trip. I saw sparkle few times when I plug it into the outlet, but I don't think this is an issue of the adapter.
