Amazing item but they stop working after 4 months. Really disappointed as my babies love sleeping with them but for this price you’d expect at least 2 years before it stops. I’ve brought 4 in total as replacements but now going to look for an alternative

Only 4 stars because you can hear the motor moving. Otherwise my 11month old loves it and it helps him settle back to sleep when he wakes up

This otter is a wonderful bedtime toy that really helps settle my baby. It has a range of features that make it both cute and practical. You can control the volume, choose between music, white noise, or gentle nature sounds, and even turn on a soft warm light that glows from its tummy. The gentle rise and fall of the tummy mimics real breathing, which adds a calming touch during naps or bedtime. The fabric is very soft, the sounds are soothing, and it feels safe and comforting for little ones. The inner unit is easy to remove for cleaning, which is a big plus. This product is a Must Have. It lights up all colors and slowly transitions, the lights aren’t extremely bright although vibrant and gorgeous, the sounds are heartbeat, nature, whooshing, and 8+ Lullaby Songs that when pressed once, lasts about ten minutes, it has strings which are meant for on the crib attachment but my son loves playing with them, and it’s the softest pillow I’ve ever felt. I’m considering buying one for myself as well. This brings such peace and calmness even when my son needs comforting. He falls asleep so quickly, I didn’t start putting it in his crib until he hit 12 months, but I would but this over and over again. This would be a Perfect gift for a baby shower, a toddler who needs soothing, or even an adult who enjoys ambience and comfort. It’s light weight, the battery box is snuggly secure and you can’t even feel it, it’s strongly Velcro secured, and very easy to switch out the batteries. It’s a beautiful and sweet little gift, it helps my son through teething and helps him stay serene. I recommend this to parents, children’s of all ages, and adults.

I am obsessed with this product!! It plays soothing music!! It is soft to the touch and has an adorable appearance. I love the quality and would recommend for anyone wanting to buy!! My baby is expected to arrive later this year and I cannot wait to use this for those relaxing moments.

As it is meant to be given to little babies or small children there are just a few other reviews to be found. I just received this in the mail opened it right away and layed down on my bed. I am a 26-year old man who has some emotional problems, I am really grateful for this product. I had received a phony version earlier and it was really noisy. For me once I put it on and found the right way to put it next to me without it turning off automatically I found these children songs and the breathing motion really suiting and it helped me with an emotional problem I suddenly experienced after turning it on. It regulated my emotions I just experienced calm and slowly and hope I can use it for a long time coming. It makes some annoying sounds, sure, but that’s to be expected. The fake ones sold on fake websites are horrible, they just won’t stop making motor and click sounds. The fisherprice version is really worth the money if it will function like I am using it after a few minutes for the next few years.
